Respected Principal, Vice-Principal, fellow teachers and my dear students, a warm welcome to all of you in this program.
I, Kalpana Shrivastava - Class 12 Class Teacher would like to give you all a speech on the occasion of Diwali on today's special occasion. As we all know that it is the season of festivals and our most favorite festival Diwali has come very close. This is the reason why we are all so excited, but the most important thing is that how many people from us take necessary steps to stop it and do something good in this subject. It is one thing to say this, but doing something in this subject is a different thing.
After this festival, the environmental condition becomes very pathetic and it becomes very difficult for people to breathe. Young children and old people are most affected by this problem. Due to which many problems arise in them, such as difficulty in breathing, eye problems etc.
However, despite knowing these things and knowing the growing side effects of firecrackers on the environment, many people buy them in large quantities and break them during Diwali. One of the most frightening consequences of bursting firecrackers is the dreadful mist spreading in the sky. My dear students, my aim is not to stop all of you from celebrating such auspicious festival, but to explain to you how many destructive results are produced by our actions on our environment. As an educated person, it is our responsibility to be more aware of our responsibilities and try to make people around us aware of it.
Dear students, this is our environment and we are residents of this planet. So it is our biggest responsibility to fulfill our responsibility and try to protect this planet at all costs not only for our future generations but also to discharge our responsibility while protecting the natural resources of our mother earth. It is not that if the firecrackers are not broken, the excitement of our festival will end or it will become boring, there are many other measures through which we can make the work of making this festival more fun. Such as lighting lamps, flying kites, distributing sweets and if you want to burst firecrackers, then firecrackers boil which are least harmful to the environment and use them only in limited quantity.
If every one of us becomes a little aware of this issue, then we can easily save our environment from further damage and make a festival like Diwali more meaningful and good.

Respected Principal, dear teachers and students, all of you are welcome to this program.
As you all know that the festival of Diwali has come very close and I am very confident that you too will be very excited about this special festival. But being the headmaster of this school, I would like to warn you about the ill effects of fireworks on Diwali.
Bursting crackers is not only harmful for the environment but is also very dangerous for humans because it contains many toxic and deadly chemical elements such as sulfur dye oxide, carbon monoxide etc. These poisonous gases cause many damage to our respiratory system and also decrease the oxygen content in our body. Apart from this, they not only increase air pollution but also increase noise pollution.
Most children and the elderly are most affected by the loud noises caused by bursting of firecrackers. The noise caused by these firecrackers is so dangerous that sometimes it can also cause permanent deafness. In addition, people who have heart problems, chronic bronchitis and problems associated with the immune system are at the highest risk of being affected by air pollution.
We all have to work together to save our mother like our earth and conserve its resources so that we can breathe in harmful gases and pollution free environment.
These eye-catching firecrackers contain many types of heavy iron particles and harmful gases, the most dangerous of which is carbon dioxide, which is the gas that causes the most damage to our environment and causes global warming. Is also mainly responsible for
Instead of bursting these harmful firecrackers, we should light a lamp, clean our houses, help in making delicious sweets in our homes, make a Rangoli to welcome Mother Lakshmi. It is believed that Diwali is the festival of the victory of light over darkness, which is why we light lamps and remove darkness from our homes.
However, together we can take many steps for environmental protection. Firecrackers have been banned by the Indian government, yet people do not follow these rules, so these rules should be strictly enforced. Many schools and organizations work to explain the importance of pollution-free Diwali to the students as well as the people. Such campaigns are encouraged by media channels and their heads, in which attempts are made to make people aware of the harmful consequences of firecrackers. For this, many programs are conducted on television and radio, in which people are warned about the noise pollution caused by firecrackers.
Therefore, I would appeal to all of you to help our government and support the decision of ban on crackers. So now I would urge the Deputy Principal of the school to come to the stage and try to teach students in this subject by saying a few words in this subject.

Respected Principal, Deputy Principal, dear teachers and my dear classmates, all of you are warmly welcomed in this speech competition.
The festival of Diwali has come very close now and I will give a speech to Nikita Sharma, a Class 12 student, on the subject of Diwali today. Diwali is also known as the festival of light and colors. Diwali is one of the most important festivals for the followers of Hinduism as it represents a light victory over darkness. This is why we light lamps in our homes on this festival.
We all must have seen in our homes that our mothers start cleaning the houses a week before Diwali, after all we have wondered why Diwali has so much importance in our lives. It is believed that on those auspicious days of Diwali, the houses which are kept clean and clean come to Goddess Lakshmi and offer their blessings.
We all must have heard a lot of stories from our grandparents about Diwali. Many families believe that this festival is celebrated as a victory of good over evil, while many believe that it is celebrated in honor of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, and Lord Ganesha, the god of knowledge. According to the Hindu epic Ramayana, after the 14 years of exile of Lord Rama, Mata Sita and Lakshman ji, Ayodhya dwellers lit ghee in the joy of returning to Ayodhya and this is the beginning of the festival of Diwali.
Similarly according to the second Hindu epic Mahabharata, some people celebrated the festival of Diwali by lighting a lamp when Pandavas returned to their kingdom after 12 years of exile and 1 year of exile. Apart from this, it is also believed that the festival of Diwali started when Goddess Lakshmi was born after the churning of the ocean by the gods and demons. The festival of Diwali is also the time of auspicious New Year in some western and northern parts of India. Along with this, people of Sikhism are also celebrated in the Golden Temple to pay tribute to many gurus of Sikhism. Likewise, it is also considered by Jain religions to be the day of attainment of Mahavir Swami. That is why we can say that because India is a very diverse country, there are different beliefs about Diwali in different religions.
Though Diwali is a festival of light, yet many of us do not hesitate to spread pollution to celebrate this day. It is not only dangerous to use firecrackers. Using firecrackers is not only dangerous for asthma patients but is also very dangerous for the common people. They release many toxic elements in the air such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide etc. Due to which in the end pollution problems arise.
Therefore, we all have to bear this responsibility of not breaking firecrackers on Diwali and work for the protection of the environment for our future generations. It is not only that humans are affected by many types of pollution caused by firecrackers, but it also causes harm to many animals and birds alike and due to the pollution from firecrackers the amount of oxygen in their body is quite high It decreases and the amount of carbon dioxide increases, sometimes due to its high volume, they also die.
So let us all take a pledge to celebrate pollution free Diwali together.

I welcome all of you Avantika Shukla Class 10th C students to today's speech ceremony and would like to express my special gratitude to my esteemed Principal and Deputy Principal for taking their valuable time to come to today's speech. I would like to say to my dear friends of the school that this program is an attempt to instill confidence in us to speak and develop our mind even more.
For this I would like to give special thanks to the headmistress of my school. With whose courtesy we got this special opportunity to express our own feelings. Friends, the topic I have chosen for today's speech, is Diwali because now there is not much day left in the festival of Diwali and people get excited about this festival, whether it is shopping, clean their houses - Be it cleaning or giving gifts to your relatives by meeting them. During this festival we have a lot of work and we participate very much in all these works. Along with this, lights are seen everywhere in this festival of Diwali in the winter. Due to these characteristics of Diwali, we can feel its joy all around us.
During the festival of Diwali, its eagerness is seen most among the children and they are eagerly waiting for this day to burst firecrackers. Apart from this, the most important thing about this festival is worshiping Goddess Lakshmi in the evening and praying to God for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of his family members. This festival of Diwali is also considered as the victory of good over evil and victory of light over darkness.
But my friends also have some bad aspects of this festival, which is increasing day by day due to the neglect of people. Due to this pollution on Diwali, the environment is affected in a very bad and negative way. Even though we find this act of bursting crackers quite entertaining, it can prove to be fatal for us, especially for people who are prone to respiratory diseases, exposure to toxic substances and gases generated by fireworks. His health deteriorates further as he arrives.
As we all know that bursting of firecrackers has many harmful effects on our environment, so why don't we all come forward and start celebrating environmentally friendly Diwali, doing this not only makes the festival of Diwali even more It will be done but it will also become more good for all the people around us. So let's take a pledge not to do firecrackers and use Diwali instead of candles and celebrate the festival of Diwali in the true sense. Diwali is a festival of happiness and light, so let's enjoy each other with gifts and sweets and enjoy the festival.
