Idol Immersion -
On the night of Navami, a huge Bhajan Sandhya is organized in the pandal of Maa Durga in which all people take part in devotion and reverence and sing Bhajan of Maa Durga throughout the night.
After worshiping Goddess Durga on the day of Dashmi, the idols of Durga Maa are decorated with colorful flowers and tableaux are taken out all over the city and village. In the tableaux, people sing and dance, gulal color, drum drums and all enjoy joining this festival.
Later the idol of Maa Durga is immersed in the holy reservoirs, ponds or rivers. Millions of people take part at the time of immersion. This is the last moment of this festival when all the people get emotional.
At the time of immersion of the mother, everyone blesses her and wishes happiness, prosperity and happiness, after which all the people return to their respective homes.
