Essay on Forest, conservation, save trees, plant trees, deforestation

Preface
A forest is basically a piece of land that contains a large number of different varieties of trees and plants. These beautiful creations of nature serve as a home for various species of animals. Covered by dense trees, shrubs, mucus and a wide variety of plants, a vast land area is known as forest. There are different types of forests around the world. These are classified on the basis of their type of soil, trees and other species of flora and fauna. Forests are an essential part of the Earth's ecosystem. They help maintain the planet's climate, purify the atmosphere, protect watersheds. They are a natural habitat for animals and a major source of wood used to produce many of the products used in our day to day life. Forest maintains biodiversity on Earth and thus forest is important for maintaining a healthy environment on the planet.

Origin of the word forest
The word forest derives from the French word meaning the dominance of trees and plants on a large scale. It was introduced as an English word that refers to the wild lands that people searched for hunting. This land may or may not be occupied by trees. Some claimed that the word forest was derived from the medieval Latin word 'forresta' which meant open wood. In medieval Latin the term was used specifically to address the plains used for the king's royal hunt.

Types of forests
Forests around the world are classified into various categories. Here is a brief introduction of different types of forests, so that you can get basic information about these forests. These forests form a part of the Earth's ecosystem -
(1) Tropical rain forest -
These are extremely dense forests and include large evergreen trees, which are lush green every year. These forests receive a lot of rainfall throughout the year but still the temperature is high here as they are located near the geo-central line.
(2) Sub-tropical forest -
These forests lie to the north and south of the tropical forests. These forests mostly experience drought-like conditions. Trees and plants here are suited to drought in summer.
(3) Deciduous forest -
These forests are mainly home to trees that lose their leaves every year. Deciduous forests are mostly in areas that experience mild winters and summers. These can be found in various parts of the world including Europe, North America, New Zealand, Asia and Australia. Walnut, oak, maple, hickory and chestnut trees are mostly found here.
(4) Temperate One -
In temperate forests, deciduous and coniferous evergreen trees grow. These forests, located in northeast Asia, eastern North America, and western eastern Europe, receive substantial rainfall.
(5) Montane Forest -
These clouds are known as forests, this is because most of the rain in these forests comes from mist, which is from the lowlands. These are mostly located in tropical, sub-tropical and temperate regions. These forests experience cold weather as well as intense sunlight. The bulk of these forests are occupied by conifers.
(6) Plantation Forest -
These are basically large farms, which produce cash crops such as coffee, tea, sugarcane, oil palms, cotton and oil seeds. About 40% of industrial wood is produced in the forest of Bagan forest. They are particularly known for the production of durable wood and fiber.
(7) Mediterranean Forest -
These forests are located around the Mediterranean, Chile, California and Western Australia beaches. These have a mixture of softwood and hardwood trees and almost all trees are evergreen.
(8) Coniferous Forest -
These forests are found near the poles, mainly in the Northern Hemisphere and experiencing cold and windy seasons throughout the year. They experience the growth of hardwood and conifer trees. The development of pines, fur, hemlocks and spruce is a common sight here. Coniferous trees are evergreen and the drought-like conditions here are well adapted.

Importance of forests
It is said that forests are the basic basis of the balance of nature and human beings. Forest is an important part of the ecosystem. The need to conserve forests and grow more trees is often emphasized. Some of the major reasons for doing this are as follows -
(i) Forests are the places of attainment of all kinds of fruits and flowers, flora, herbs and herbs, and the whole source of life and energy is being transmitted on the earth.
(ii) Forests prevent erosion of earth and mountains. Rivers provide flow and mobility.
(iii) Forests are the cause of clouds and rainfall.
(iv) Different types of animals and birds have their origin, habitat and shelter.
(v) The original source of the shadow.
(vi) Timber is fire.
(vii) There are many more to fulfill human fuel requirement too.
(viii) Many rare species of human and animal-birds etc. are still found in their remaining form in the density of forests.
(ix) It is common knowledge that plants take oxygen and release carbon dioxide. They also absorb other greenhouse gases that are harmful to the atmosphere.
(x) Trees and forests help us to clean the air as well as the environment.
(xi) Trees create shade on the rivers and lakes rising from the forests and protect them from drying.
(xii) Used for making various pieces of furniture with tables, chairs and beds in other wooden items. Forests serve as sources of various types of forest.
(xiii) Millions of people around the world directly or indirectly depend on forests for their livelihood. Approximately 10 million people are directly employed to conserve and manage forests.
In this way, many more vital importance and use of forests can be counted.

Perpetual utility
It is clear that from the beginning till today, the need and utility of forests has remained, will continue to be continued, but despite being educated, knowledgeable and knowledgeable, the forests are constantly cutting and cutting the balance of nature, of the earth, of all humanity. Everyone wants to destroy everything. Being engrossed in the fulfillment of our vested interests, we are not able to understand how we are doing great harm to nature and humanity and to our own coming generations by not giving proper protection and enhancement to the forests by continuing the erosion of the forests.

We want to make the earth capable of making life elixir dry and dry and lifeless. Remain forest, only then there will be a fair amount of rainfall on the earth, the stream of rivers will flow, there will not be erosion of mountains and earth. Protection from natural disasters like drought or flood and earthquake will continue. Necessary vital-air and life-saving drugs-flora etc. will continue to be received. Many minerals are being obtained, they will continue to happen, otherwise their sources will also be closed. The utility of forests is the same as it was centuries ago and will remain the same in every year to come.

Humans benefit from forests
Everyone knows about the usefulness of forests since ancient times. Everyone is also aware of the benefits from the forests. Forests have some direct and indirect benefits. Direct benefits are visible to everyone, but some people have knowledge about indirect benefits.
Direct benefits from forests -
Initially the forests used to provide food, clothes, houses to humans. Nevertheless, man made his farming, and settlement by cutting down forests. But humans continued to get food to cook food from the forests and wood to build houses and fruits to eat. Man has opened many industries based on forests for his convenience.
Rubber, lac, lap, matchmaking, paper, packing board, wellbeing, railways etc. are based on industry forests. Furniture making factories operate from forests. By extracting the hearth (lap and lisa) of the trees of the forest, the human self-accomplishes.

Indirect benefits from forests -
Forests provide life to humans. Forests are such true friends of the living beings that they take their threats themselves and provide them benefits. Breathing is the life of a mere creature. When we inhale, oxygen air enters our heart and takes life in us and when we release our breath, we release carbon dioxide gas at that time. Trees help us a lot in this breathing process. Trees release oxygen to protect organisms and absorb carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is harmful to humans. Due to the absence of a tree, its quantity increases in the air, which poses a threat to the organism.
In the absence of trees, there will also be a lack of oxygen, due to which the existence of living organisms will also disappear. Rain is increased by trees. Trees draw Badalo towards them. Trees protect us from pollution. Many types of diseases are caused by pollution, the atmosphere gets contaminated, oxygen is destroyed. Trees remove this pollution, they take the contaminated air themselves and provide clean air to us. In this situation, who else can be our friend by growing from the tree. Therefore it is our religion to protect trees.

Deforestation problem
The problem of deforestation is not the problem of any one, but the problem of the whole world. If nothing is done to deal with this problem, then the entire living world will be destroyed.
Deforestation is the process of cutting down trees for purposes such as building buildings in large tracts of forest. Trees are not planted again on this land. Statistics show that almost half of the world's forests have been destroyed since the development of the industrial era. This number is likely to increase in the coming times as industrialists are continuously using forest land for personal gain. A large number of trees are also pruned to produce various items from wood and other components of trees. Deforestation has a negative impact on the environment. These are the reasons for soil erosion, disruption of water cycle, climate change and loss of biodiversity. If no attention is paid to deforestation, it will take a very formidable form. Forest is very important for life until we all understand that it is impossible to stop deforestation. We are not only destroying forests, but also putting the lives of our future generations at risk.
Often, the main reason for the depletion of forests is to cut them indiscriminately. To make more land available for agriculture for the supply of growing population, cutting of forests is very common. Destroying forests in this way has the opposite effect on agriculture. According to scientists, 33 percent of the land should be forested for a healthy environment. This keeps the balance of the environment. It is a matter of sorrow and concern that according to government statistics in India only 19.5 percent area has forests. Non-government sources state only 10 to 15 percent of the forest area. Even if we consider the government data to be correct, the situation is not satisfactory. The point of concern is that the pace of deforestation is much faster than afforestation. To address all these situations, we have to consider effective measures.

State of forests in India
India is one of the top ten forest-rich countries in the world along with Australia, Brazil, China, Canada, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Russian Federation, United States, Indonesia and Sudan. These countries together with India constitute about 67% of the total forest area of the world. Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra are among the states that have the largest forest area land in India.
Forestry is a major rural industry in India. It is a means of livelihood for a large number of people. India is known for producing a vast range of processed forest products. These include not only products made of wood but also substantial quantities of non-wood products. Non-wood products include essential oils, medicinal herbs, resins, flavors, fragrances and fragrance chemicals, gums, latex, handicrafts, incense sticks and various ingredients.

Forest protection required
In our scriptures, planting trees is said to be a great virtue. Planting a tree is equivalent to performing a yajna. Seeing the direct and indirect benefits of forests, it is our duty to protect them. Science has understood the dangers caused by the destruction of forests in this century, so modern scientists have advised every government to conserve forests. Therefore, every government of the world has made a policy of forest protection on its own. We must consume forests for urgent tasks.
Where there is direct benefit from deforestation there is indirect loss. Few people are directly benefited from forests, but indirect losses happen to the whole world. Therefore, conservation of forests is essential. The government is also responsible for the conservation of forests. Because the existence and importance of forests is of paramount importance, it is also absolutely essential to preserve them in every way. Not just conservation, because at least we are obliged to cut them and use them. For this reason, it is also very important to continue planting and growing them. Nature has planted forests wherever there is soil, where it is needed. We also have to keep in mind these things and keep doing new planting and augmenting so that balance and beauty of our earth, our life remains. All our requirements are to be fulfilled till the ages, whose basis are forests. Their defense and livelihood were also necessary, which could be possible and accessible only by preserving forests. Even today the situation of the object is not very different in that. Certain changes in conditions can be considered according to time. But where the thing is from, it can get real beauty and vitality from there. For this reason, the need for forest protection has remained the same since today.

From this analysis, it becomes clear that how important, how important and important is the conservation of forest, or how useful it can be in the right of mankind. So far, due to greed and greed, we have damaged as much as by cutting forests. The sooner it is compensated, the more it will be in the interest of humanity, it is our firm belief.

Epilogue
Forest is a boon for mankind. Forests are a beautiful creation of nature. India is particularly blessed with some beautiful forests that are home to many rare species of birds and animals. The importance of forests should be recognized and the government should take measures to control the issue of deforestation. There is no pious work in the world equal to planting a tree, because many lives are saved by the tree, it gives the same benefit to the enemy. Forest is an essential part of the environment. However, unfortunately, humans are cutting down trees to serve a variety of purposes, thereby deteriorating the ecological balance. The need to save trees and forests should be taken more seriously. Thus forests are important for the survival of mankind. From the fresh air to the wood we use as a bed to sleep on - all of this comes from the forests. Therefore, to protect humans from diseases and pollution, the number of trees should be increased. Our government should also protect forests and plant new trees for their growth. With the growth of the living world, trees should also grow.
