Essay on Summer Vacation
Our family lives in the city of Delhi, like every time, this time too the summer holidays are coming. All the students of our school are talking about going to different places. See, when the days of holidays have come, it is not known that we have not made any plans for the holidays this time.
So I and my younger sister are going to their grandparents who live in our ancestral village. The living of the village is very simple, the atmosphere here is cool, cool and crowded due to which we like to come here.
My grandfather used to wake up every morning to take us to the city of the farm where there is a cool breeze in the morning. Farmers are giving water to the crop, cow buffalo goats keep walking around here and there, such a beautiful view we do not get to see in the city of Delhi.
In the fields, Grandpa introduces us to other farmers, the farmers there are very good, they gave us water and brought sugarcane from the field which was very tasty to eat.
Before noon, we come home and have delicious food, as well as curd buttermilk and rabdi are available for drinking, which reduces the heat.
In the evening we go to play with friends, there we play type of games like Gilli Danda, Thief Police, Ball hitting, Cricket etc. We enjoy playing sports and by the evening we get tired so we go back home.
After having dinner in the evening, grandparents tell us new interesting stories as well as tell us interesting things of old times as our knowledge increases and we also enjoy it.
Sometimes the grandmother takes us to the temple where the atmosphere is very quiet. The bells of the temple sound sweet and sweet. The priest of the temple is very good, he loves us very much and tells new stories. The priest told us that a big fair is going to be held in the temple tomorrow.
What was the wait for another day. The next day, Grandpa placed me on my shoulder and went out for a fair walk. The fair was a very beautiful punishment, somewhere someone is singing a dance and somewhere someone is swinging.
I also spoke to Dadaji in a swing, in which I enjoyed a lot, then there we ate samosas, which were very tasty.
After this we visited the temple and after coming back, Dadaji bought some toys for me and my younger sister as well as some items for the house, after which we came back home. I was very happy to see this fair and also enjoyed it.
In a few days, my father and mother also came to the village and we all went on a small picnic where I and my younger sister had a lot of fun, we swung in different kinds of swings and dined on the seaside.
How to build small houses with the wet sand of the sea, how the time passed did not know, and then we all returned to Delhi.
After coming to Delhi, I completed the work given in school. In this way I used the summer holidays to the fullest. This holiday will be forever memorable to me.
