Speech on global warming
Speech on global warming 1
Good morning to my esteemed teachers and teachers and my dear colleagues. I want to give a speech on global warming on this occasion. Global warming is an ever increasing environmental theme around the world. No one country is responsible for this, but countries of the world are responsible for increasing this problem. In fact, due to global warming and some of our daily activities, there has been a global increase in the temperature of the Earth. Many of our activities heat the Earth which ultimately increases its temperature. Excess in temperature occurs when greenhouse gases (eg; carbon dioxide, water evaporation, neutrous oxide, methane, etc.) capture the light and heat of the sun around us. Ultimately, the rise in temperature damages the lives of humans, animals and plants. There are many reasons for increasing global warming, however, some of the initial and main factors are considered greenhouse effect.
Global warming
The greenhouse effect is generated by gases such as greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, chloro-fluoro carbon, methane, nitrous oxide, etc. Such greenhouse gases are generated due to our daily activities and are present in the atmosphere as a covering of the earth which again absorbs the hot rays of the sun and makes this earth a burning earth. The absorbed heat remains in the lower enclosure of the biosphere and increases the temperature level. According to the data, it is estimated that by 2050, the increase in the Earth's temperature will be around 4 ° to 5 ° C. In the last 5 centuries, it has increased by about 1 degree Celsius whereas, half its temperature has increased only in the 20th century. Therefore, global warming is at its peak and is constantly alerting us to its ill effects.
It is affecting almost all parts of the world and causes rise in sea level, melting of glaciers and many more which surround the Terai Islands. Along with destroying these huge forests, it is causing the killing of algae and acidic rain. Acidic rain is very dangerous which destroys all the substances that come in contact with it. Global warming is the cause of natural fires that can burn entire forests. The constant increase in the temperature of the earth affects the life of agricultural crops, forests, aquatic animals and the growth of life on earth. This problem cannot be solved only by the efforts of one country, global efforts of all countries are needed to reduce and eliminate it completely.
Thank you.
Speech on global warming 2
Good morning to my venerable teacher and my dear friends, I want to give a speech in front of you today on the topic of global warming. Global warming is caused by the continuous increase of greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere. Some greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, water evaporation, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone. When they converge in the lower environment, they take the form of a cover that allows all the hot heat of the sun to penetrate easily while obstructing their return. This process is called the greenhouse effect. These kinds of gases in the atmosphere trap hot randians and increase the temperature by keeping the earth warm.
The level of greenhouse gases rises due to human activities like burning of trees, burning of fossils, using electric lights, refrigerators, microwaves, air conditioners etc. Such actions emit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere at high levels, thereby increasing the Earth's temperature. An increase in temperature in the atmosphere causes more water evaporation from the Earth, water evaporation again absorbs more heat and overheats the Earth's atmosphere. Global warming alters natural processes, rainfall patterns, seasons, increasing sea water levels, ecological balance and more. It is a very powerful demon that affects our lives on a large scale, so it needs to be solved by the joint efforts of everyone on an immediate basis.
Thank you.
Speech on global warming 3
Good morning to my esteemed teacher and my dear colleagues. Nowadays, all of us are very well aware of the catastrophic changes in the climate. This is an increasingly serious topic due to global warming. For our future generations, facing the challenges of all changes in the environment due to this terrible irreversible disasters is a big topic. Global warming has regularly increased the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere. Earlier the rate of increase in temperature was slow, however, it is currently growing very fast. The main causes of global warming are greenhouse gases such as; Nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, methane etc. These gases collect in the atmosphere and from all sources such as; It increases the temperature by absorbing the heat produced by the sun and human activities (fossil fuels, burning petroleum, deforestation, etc.). Global warming affects our planet in many ways.
Attractive glaciers have started melting due to the increase in temperature in the environment and pose a threat to polar bears. Melting glaciers have created large amounts of water, increasing sea level in the Terai region of the southern marine islands. The rise in sea temperature has created problems for the life of aquatic animals. In order to reduce the ill effects of global warming, a number of rules were formulated and implemented by the governments of various countries such as; Limiting harmful vehicle emissions, reducing the emission of chemicals due to damage to the ozone layer, cutting down trees, tree planting, car pulling, etc.
We need to bring positive changes in our habits such as - Waste can be reduced by using reusable products instead of disposable products. We should buy products with less packing to reduce waste. We should recycle paper, newspapers, glasses, aluminum cans, and more. If we start recycling at least half of our household stuff, then we can stop the emission of about 2400 pounds of carbon dioxide per day. We should reduce the excess usage of electricity like air condition, hair dryer, room heater etc. We should make a habit of turning off the electricity while sleeping at night or going out of the house during the day. We should use compact fluorescent light (CFL) lights in place of our regular bulbs. The continued use of Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) in place of regular light bulbs will be helpful in eradicating 90 pounds of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.
We should reduce unnecessary use of cars and vehicles or petroleum vehicles and use them very wisely so that the least harmful gases are emitted. We should as far as possible walk on foot instead of bikes, cars or other means of transport. We should use cold water as far as possible except hot water. In this way we can reduce global warming by reducing the use of electricity. With the change in our habits, we should also conserve energy by encouraging others to use electricity as less as possible.
Thank you.
Speech on global warming 4
My esteemed teachers and teachers, my dear colleagues, classmates and friends present here, morning greetings to all of you, on this great occasion, I want to give a speech on the topic of global warming which is the most prominent environmental topic. Day by day, we are experiencing major changes in the Earth's atmosphere and climate. Gradually the Earth's atmosphere is getting warmer, however, this process has become much faster in the last few years. Nowadays we are facing many natural disasters as a result of global warming such as; Earthquake, tsunami, cyclone, storm etc. We are also feeling big changes in the time period of seasons like; The summer season is getting bigger and the winter season is getting shorter. Polar ice mountains and glaciers are melting extensively.
In some areas of the country, for some decades, snow has decreased, spring arrives and flowers begin to bloom prematurely. Large scale changes in climate are indicative of the bad effects of global warming for us. Birds migrating from warmer regions to colder regions, sea storms are occurring in the Atlantic Ocean with very high intensity. Seawater levels are constantly rising, glaciers are melting rapidly due to strong hot winds and waves, human health is deteriorating, climate is changing, weather system is changing, environment is increasing. Temperature is adversely affecting the entire climate and other problems are arising due to human industrial activities.
Earth's surface environment is increasing rapidly due to the primary causes of global warming such as; Green House Effect of Green House Gases. Green house gases such as carbon dioxide and a trap of hazardous ultraviolet rays collect in the atmosphere which heats the environment. The rate of droughts and floods has increased rapidly due to global warming. Due to drought, the soil of the fields does not get moisture due to which the farmers face many financial difficulties. The demand of fruits, vegetables and grains by people all over the world cannot be met due to drought. Thus, global warming has brought food shortages all over the world.
Warm air in the atmosphere holds a lot of moisture inside compared to cold air which causes flooding in many areas. Drought and flood both adversely affect crop production. These natural calamities affect human, animal and plant life on many dimensions. Coral reefs are considered very important for aquatic life as they provide food and shelter to fishes, crabs, sea turtles and other aquatic creatures. Therefore global warming poses a major threat to the existence of life on Earth in the future. It needs to be sorted out by the global efforts of the people on an immediate basis, for a happy and prosperous life here.
Thank you.
