Ladies and gentlemen, all of you are warmly welcomed in today's program.
As you all know that today we have gathered here to discuss the Indian education system, along with this, we also need to look at why such a large number of students are going abroad to study. We all know that the modern education system is not our own, but it is based on the western education system. If we examine it more deeply, it is found that the arrival of the modern Indian education system was done by the Christian missionaries who came with the British to India. These Christian missionaries established many types of schools and encouraged secular activities as well as the increased inclination of Indians towards Christianity.
If we look at the ancient education system of India, we find that it was based on the Gurukul education system, the foundation of which we know as the teacher today and was based on the direct relation of the disciple or student. Under such an education system, one had to acquire knowledge of Vedic literature along with leading a firm life and a disciplined life. This education system was mostly dedicated to learning philosophy, theology, and linguistics. We can say that it was such an inclusive education system, which emphasized the subject of spirituality and philosophy, about war and a healthy lifestyle with good morals.
However, this education system was divided on the basis of the varna system and both women and Shudras were deprived of knowledge of the education system and business subjects. After this, we see that the Madrasa education system emerged in medieval India and it established its dominance during this period. Most such schools such as Madraso and Pathshala were run under the supervision of Maulvi who taught Muslim students and Brahmins who taught Hindu students respectively.
During that period there was no seriousness in the thinking of the people towards education. Because mainly these education systems were based on their traditional view of Hindu and Muslim communities and they put more emphasis on philosophical and religious education rather than secular education.
But we should also not forget that secular education became a center of great inspiration among people in Western Europe only after the 17th century, and after that in the 19th century, scientific knowledge came in front of people.
However, the present Indian education system is not impregnable and it has failed to provide sufficient opportunities and employment to the youth. Our education system is still limited to classroom teaching only and students do not have sufficient tools and resources for practical experience so that when they complete their education they face a lot of barriers to livelihood and employment. . In today's time, we need to investigate our education system, so that students can be prepared in view of today's era, so that they can earn money by getting the right education and there is no burden on their family. I am Aditya Khare, host of all of you in this program today before I start my speech about the Indian education system, you all are our special guests today Mr. ........ To come here in the program, welcome with loud applause.
Ladies and Gentlemen, some of you may not know that our special guest Mr. …… is the President of the Department of Education, University of Delhi. I do not have enough words to praise his achievements in the field of education. But still, let me tell you that they are making all efforts to improve the Indian education system by removing its faults and shortcomings. So that this door of education can be opened for all the youth and he can become even more talented by acquiring the immense wealth of this education.
Today, we have not come here to celebrate our Indian education system but to discuss the fact that even today it is far behind in terms of becoming a best education system globally. So let us start a discussion about the topic of our education system today so that we can overcome these challenges and obstacles and our students get maximum benefit at national and international levels.
I believe that the current education system has failed to meet the expectations of the students because even after completion of their education, they are not getting employment. Therefore, we can say that the education given to our students is not directly related to the employment opportunities in the outside world. Because of which students are not able to face this situation and get frustrated. However, for some time, this issue has been taken seriously by both the central and state governments and efforts are being made to reduce this distance between education and employment.
Our growth in education has been very disappointing. We can guess this from the fact that only 3.85 percent of our GDP is spent by the government in the education sector, apart from this, millions of students do not get the opportunity to go to school, even though the last few There has been an improvement in this subject over the years. After independence, it was believed that there was a need for a complete change in the education system of India, but in the present times, it requires fast changing educational technologies and techniques.
As seen earlier, there is no synergy between the education offered in our classrooms and employment opportunities in the outside world. Special attention is being paid to the curriculum and structure of the Indian education system by experts in this subject so that it can be tailored to the changing needs of the people over time. As a result, better employment opportunities will be generated and we will also be able to overcome the problem of 'brain drain' of our country. So that both national and personal interests of the students will be fulfilled simultaneously.
We should understand that the future of our nation depends on our youth, if they become empowered, then there will be nothing to stop our country from progressing globally and touching new heights. At the end, I would urge my esteemed chief guest to come on stage and say a few words about the subject.

Hello Friends, You are warmly welcomed to the 51st Annual Academic Conference of our Institute ............
I have never been so happy before, as today our Institute is completing 50 annual conferences. This is a clear sign of the growth of our institute because in these passing years we have always tried to continuously improve education and equip students with knowledge and skills more thoroughly.
This time this conference is going to be a little different because this time we are going to discuss the Indian education system which is a matter of concern for every person. It is a disappointment that our Indian education system is based on Rantat lore, in which students are buried under the burden of books so that they can get good marks and get a good job in a good company.
But I would like to ask you how it can prove to be a reasonable criterion for the decision, because the number of marks sheets does not reflect everything. We also need to evaluate a student based on their creative ability and another level of competence. For example, a student may be good at mathematics, another student may have an inclination towards art and may want to become a painter.
The biggest mistake we make is when we start comparing two people, who are born with different abilities and skills. Assessing a student only on the basis of preconceived ideas such as whether he / she is good in mathematics or good / good in science or English, not based on his / her interest which is playing cricket, football or table tennis or singing or dancing, etc. It can also happen. We need to stop the tendency of imposing a subject on any student. Along with this, we need to increase the talent of the students and for this, we have to provide them a good environment only then we will be able to make our country proud at the world level.
Apart from utilizing the talent of our country, it is also very important to provide education to every caste, class, gender of the society. If every citizen of our country is educated, then he will be able to know the secrets and wonders of the world. In this way, the people of our society will be successful in freeing themselves from the clutches, apprehensions of superstition and the root of every evil spread in society, that is, negativity. It is very important to educate every section of the society, because it will increase their ability to think and their intellectual level, so that they will be able to know the true reason behind everything and in the misinformation and mischief of conceptions and false promises of the ruling class. Won't come If you say it briefly, it will make them cultured and civilized as well as make them a good citizen of a proud nation.

All of you are welcome to this speech ceremony today. The topic of today's speech is the Indian education system. I am Sakshi Kalra hosting all of you on this program on the occasion of today and I hope that everyone has something to say about this topic today because we are all part of this education system. This topic has both negative and positive aspects. The importance of education can never be underestimated, "Education makes the leadership of people easy, but makes them difficult to bind, makes their rule easy but makes them impossible to enslave." This statement is true because, without education, a human being becomes an animal.
Have you ever seen a flock of sheep? How they are fed and how to take care of them. In the same way, without education, a human being becomes like a flock of sheep, which can be kept as they wish. Education is very important for a decent human being, as it gives him the power to reason. Without which he will remain as an animal. Do you know how the word education means "education"? This word originated from a Latin word, which means "to draw outside", so real education means to bring out the mental knowledge inside us, to respect it and to understand its importance which is very necessary for our meaningful existence.
However, there is some flaw in our education system, so together let us know what kind of changes are needed in it. From the very beginning, our education system has faced many shortcomings and inconsistencies and till this time we have not been able to remove these discrepancies and errors from our education system. In fact, once Ravindra Nath Tagore wrote a long article about the Indian education system, in which he discussed the need for its reforms. There have been very few changes in our education system since colonial times.
By the way, IITs and IIMs, law schools and many other excellent educational institutions are running in our country, where students get 90 percent marks. To get admission in good institutes and colleges such as these, many times 90 percent marks are also reduced and students are not able to get admission to the institutes of their choice.
Unfortunately rote learning or to say that rote learning is still present in our education system where students study only to pass exams like AIIMS, IIT JEE or Silat. This education system was created by the British, whose purpose was to prepare only civil servants and clerks, whose structure is still somewhat similar. In which students prepare for admission in a bank exam, administrative service, clerk or any good engineering or medical college. We have good centers of education, schools, and colleges, but their number is very less in the number of thousands of unrelated education institutions, which consider education as a business of earning money and ruining the lives of countless students.
There is a need to take concrete steps to improve the standard of the education system in the country. So that the student can enjoy his journey of education and do not consider it a burden.
