Short speech on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 2
Respected Principal sir, Vice-Principal sir and teacher gana and my dear brothers and sisters. Today I have come before you to express my views on the theme of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and hope that you all will definitely like it.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a cleanliness drive run by Modi ji. Which started on 2 October 2014. Its main goals are to make India clean, eliminate open defecation completely, proper disposal of dry and wet waste, construction of accessible toilets in cities. Work on most of these issues has been completed, and the rest is expected to be completed by 2 October 2019.
The scheme was divided into two parts, one for the city and the other for rural areas. Out of which the cleanliness of cities is being decided by the Ministry of Urban Development, while the cleanliness of rural areas is being looked after by the Ministry of Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation. Most of our country's money is spent on the treatment of diseases and according to the WHO, open defecation calls for 80 percent of the sick. Therefore, taking such a big decision, the government decided to make the entire country open defecation free and decided to give a clean India to Gandhiji on his 150th birth date which is in 2019. With this I pause my speech, thank you.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Speech 3
Good morning to all My name is .............. and I study in class .... As we have all gathered on this great occasion, in my own words, I want to say something about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in front of this very large crowd. I have chosen this subject especially because of the increasing need of cleanliness around us all over India, which can only be made successful by the cooperation and efforts of each and every citizen of the country. Mahatma Gandhi, the great man of India, said that, "Cleanliness is more important than independence." India is still a developing country because of poverty, lack of education, lack of sanitation and other social issues. We need to eradicate from society all the factors that hinder the development and growth of the country.
And I think the cleanliness campaign is the best beginning to eradicate all the evils from the society as well as to promote the growth of the country with the personal growth of citizens. Only the success of the Cleanliness Mission can bring about major change in India. It is linked to the internal and external growth and development of all citizens living in India, which is reflected in the entirety of its slogan, "Clean, happy and healthy citizens participate in building a healthy and developed nation." The Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Campaign was launched by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on 2 October 2014, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi (on the 145th anniversary). Defense was.
Mahatma Gandhi was well aware of the weakness of Indian rulers. He had dreamed to make this country a clean country and even he insisted among the rural people through many means but could not fulfill it due to incomplete participation of the people. Even after many years of independence, we are still risking our lives every single moment while living in a dirty environment. According to statistics, 30% of rural people do not have access to clean toilets and use open defecation system in the plains. In June 2014, the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, while addressing the Parliament, said that, "To ensure cleanliness," Swachh Bharat Abhiyan "has been launched for waste management and sanitation across the country. This will be a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, in 2019, while celebrating his 150th anniversary. ”
To ensure cleanliness across the country, there is a great need to solve the problem of methods of sanitation, safe toilets and proper waste management. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, during his speech on Indian Independence Day in 2014, emphasized on 'Swachh Bharat', however, successfully launched this mission on 2 October 2014. The mission is targeted to be completed by 2019, Bapu's 150th anniversary. The mission aims at eliminating unhealthy practices for the people by 2019, along with providing sanitation facilities. On 25 September 2014, the first cleanliness work was started by the Prime Minister of India. It is counted as the biggest campaign in India which has now spread all around (viral).
This proper health and hygiene has the potential to change the global perception about India and can influence many tourists to visit India every year, which in a sense will lead to large scale economic growth of India. During this campaign, every Indian citizen was requested to give 100 hours of his year to clean India. For safety and health, by 15 August 2015, a rule has been made to create separate toilets for boys and girls in every school and college across India. As a student, more than that as an Indian citizen, I also request all the people gathered here to make this campaign successful by 2019.
Jai Hind Jai Bharat
"Clean India, Strong India".
Clean India Campaign Speech 5
Good morning to respected principals and teachers. I study in class ........ I want to give my thoughts on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to all of you on this special occasion. According to the report, India is the country where a large number of people use open defecation. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's nationwide cleanliness campaign was started in Valmiki Basti New Delhi. Addressing the nation at the beginning of this campaign, he requested 125 billion people of the country to join this campaign.
He himself cleared the way to the Valmiki colony with a broom after paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birthday. He had said that, "The symbol of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is not just a symbol, Gandhiji is watching us through it and we all should clean India." I am not claiming that the newly elected government is doing everything. These temples, mosques, gurudwaras or any place, we should make efforts to keep cleanliness around us. Cleanliness is not only the responsibility of the 'sanitation workers', it is the responsibility of 125 billion Indians. If Indians can reach Mars at the lowest cost, can't we also clean the environment around us? "

I have chosen Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, A Clean India Campaign to give a speech on this occasion, for its need and a huge responsibility for all of us. This is a collective movement by the government to make India a clean India by 2019. Mahatma Gandhi, who is called Bapu and the father of the nation, always emphasized cleanliness for the healthy and prosperous life of the people, but could not be more effective due to the lack of proper cooperation of the people.
Keeping in view the cleanliness and health of India, the Government of India launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 2 October 2014 (on Bapu's 145th birth anniversary), with the goal of completing 2 October 2019 (Bapu's 150th birth anniversary) . This campaign has been started to maintain cleanliness across India, covering all rural and urban areas. While launching the campaign, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said, "I do not claim that the newly elected government is doing everything." All governments have done something to achieve the goal of cleanliness in the country; I admire them all for this. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is beyond politics. It is inspired by patriotism, not politics. "
Cleanliness is not only related to one person or place, it is the responsibility of everyone to really clean India around themselves in the near future. This is the collective responsibility of the 12 billion people living in the country. In order to make this campaign a successful and influential mission, the Prime Minister of India nominated 9 Indian personalities for the purpose of joining the campaign, so that he could start the campaign in his area to spread awareness and further increase the series. Go till the message of Clean India reaches everyone.
The objective of this campaign is to eliminate cleanliness and maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the country. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in India will bring great opportunities in promoting tourism in the country as well as boosting economic level to keep its citizens healthy and happy. Cleanliness keeps all dimensions physically, mentally, socially and internally happy and healthy by reducing the chances of getting diseases.
