Honorable Principal, Deputy Principal, respected teachers and my dear students - I welcome all of you to our school seminar hall. First of all I want to extend a warm greetings to everyone here!
As usual we have again gathered to discuss our thoughts and relevant issues that concern us and our country at large and the burning issue we have today is terrorism which afflicts the whole world. I am very keen to talk about this topic. I have chosen this topic so that my students can create awareness about it and know how it has influenced the world. Though my personal opinion is no different from those inhabited in the rest of the world, but still I would like to share it with you and say that terrorism has caused great havoc on our planet and has destabilized the lives of all of us. Many brave soldiers and countless innocent people have lost their lives due to the increasing terrorist attacks. The world's economy suffered a huge loss and most importantly, it has caused so much fear in everyone that their life is not safe anywhere.
If you can reverse the needles of the clock, then you will know that history is full of terrible incidents of terrorist attacks. We cannot sleep comfortably at night, cannot walk easily on the streets because we are always at risk of terrorist attacks, which are the reasons for the killings in the increasing terrorist attacks. This is why we often protect our loved ones from gathering in crowded places, especially during the festive season. Terrorism is an activity that is deliberately used by a group of several terrorist organizations to cause general public life and property damage with the purpose of creating fear or terror among the public. It is a disgusting practice of spoiling the peaceful lives of people and destroying their families.
The wounds of the Mumbai terrorist attacks (ie 26/11) have not yet healed and such activities are continuously increasing in the world. For example from the Pakistan bomb attacks to the terrorist attacks on the Mumbai Taj Hotel, from bombings in the US to the attack on the Twin Tower. These hateful activities are perpetrated by terrorist organizations.
Unfortunately only people like us become terrorists whose minds are seduced by terrorist organizations (belonging to places like Afghanistan, Iraq and the Taliban). They even get ready to become suicide bombers and have chosen a path to become human weapons by terrorist groups.
The purpose of these terrorist activities is to unravel the social, economic and political machinery of our country or other countries of the world. According to publicly known figures, the US spends about $ 5 million a year on combating terrorism. In fact, our country is also showing active participation to address this issue. Efforts are being made to fight it through a coalition called POTA, created by our Government of India to deal with this growing threat.
So let us pledge that we will do everything possible to stop these abominable activities of crimes and murders and strengthen our country by making people aware.

I welcome all of you to the 26th Annual Discussion Program to raise people's consciousness towards the sensitive issues of our country so that people can be organized. And as you all know the news of terrorist attacks and bomb blasts always remains in the news, I want to talk on this topic for today's discussion and analysis.
Although cases of criminal violence and the dangers of war have been arising since the time of human existence, terrorism started in the form of political brutality from Le Terror, Le Terror i.e. Revolution in France. Initially referred to the term "terrorism" in the late 19th century to define the harsh attitude of revolutionary governmental rule (when about forty thousand people were beheaded) which meant purely governmental group violence such as Russian Naradnaya Volya means "the will of the people". Since then, terrorist groups or their actions have differed with changing political objectives and beliefs.
There are many questions that have been raised on terrorism such as how does terrorism disintegrate a national political system or its social institutions? How does terrorism act as a catalyst for social change? How does terrorism define the social correlation between an unhappy minority society and a ruling political party, or between a disadvantaged group and one that can achieve absolute monopoly by working force? A broader sociological view of terrorism is only possible through a discussion of political events that involve not only reference to cumulative numerical statements on a large scale but also an investigation into its effects on society.
There is no reason to deny that terrorism breaks and disturbs the population of the society and creates divisions in the society. However on the contrary it is integrated system in bringing people together for a common goal.

However on the contrary it also acts as an integrated mechanism in bringing people together for a common goal. Terrorism creates chaos in society and also impedes the law and order of a state or country i.e. abduction or murder of people of another sect due to sub-cultural distinctions by one sect on religious grounds. However, terrorism can never be the way to achieve a goal through a historical change.
A recent terrorist attack took place on July 11, 2017. The attack was on the Amarnath Yatra in Anantnag where seven murders took place and more than 19 people were seriously injured. Earlier another incident took place on 7 March 2017 when a Bhopal-Ujjain train passenger was attacked by a terrorist bomb blast. The bomb blast occurred at Jibri railway station in Shahpur, Madhya Pradesh, in which 10 passengers were injured.
Even though terrorists are not able to spoil social order, but they make the society weak thus affecting the administrative capacity of the officers and the ruling elite.
Therefore, we do not have the right to encourage or shelter anti-social elements in our society and if we see something suspicious, then all of us should be a bit more vigilant in keeping a close watch on our surroundings and reporting everything to the police. . That's all I have to say!

Ladies and gentlemen.
Before I begin this ceremony, I would like to thank all the people here for coming together and take a little precious time to speak a few words on terrorism on this occasion. As we all know that today's ceremony is organized to spread awareness about terrorism among the people in the region. It is very important for people to understand what terrorism really is?
Terrorism can only be defined as an illegal act which aims to create violence among the people. Now the fear of terrorism is spreading fast around the world. Terrorists spread terrorism in the name of religion and people are living in fear of losing their loved ones especially those who are living in terrorism affected areas. Many terrorist groups are directly or indirectly spreading terrorism all over the world including groups like ISIS, al-Qaeda etc. Terrorist activities occur due to political, religious, personal and ideological benefits. The whole world is suffering from the problem of terrorism, so it can only be solved internationally. Only one or a few countries are not responsible for this.
India as a nation faced many different problems throughout its history of which terrorism was the biggest. There have been instances when the country has gone through the fear of terrorism, for example the attack on the Taj Hotel which had a terrible impact on the entire country. In this attack the country suffered heavy losses and went through an economic crisis. These types of terrorist attacks are carried out by terrorists for political and other unfair benefits. They kill innocent people for their unreasonable demands. The purpose of these attacks is to scare people and spread economic, social harm throughout the country.
Many people of our country are in support of these terrorist attacks and they feel that whatever these terrorists are doing for their country is justified and it is a shame on us. All these attacks have spread fear among the people. Recently, militants attacked pilgrims in Anantnag in south Kashmir, killing seven pilgrims, including five women and injuring 12 people. Is it fair to kill innocent people? No religion teaches to kill people but there are some people who commit murders in the name of religion. Thus India is spending a lot of money on security every year to stop attacks on it and fight terrorism but terrorist groups are so highly trained that they secretly enter the border of our country. Our country is not the safest country but it has the latest technological security to fight against these terrorist groups.
The world can overcome this dangerous problem only when there will be increased awareness among the people and all the countries will stand together to solve this problem simultaneously.
With this, I conclude my speech and want to give a special thanks to all of you for listening to this and thank you for making this ceremony a success.

Respected Principal, respected teachers and my dear friends!
As we all know that today the event has been organized in this auditorium to disseminate information about terrorism to the younger generation and as head girl I would like to be allowed to speak a few words on terrorism on this occasion. Today we all know about the biggest problem spread across the world and thus it is very important to understand what is terrorism and why is terrorism? Terrorism is the use of unlawful violence against people or property to fulfill political objectives. The spread of terrorism is for their political and personal benefit.
We all know that our country has gone through many internal and external threats in history, but the terrorists have spread their roots in the entire country so that it has become very difficult to counter it. It has a huge impact especially on the youth of our country. Many children, especially children of the Islam community, are falling into this trap of violence. Our country has suffered many times by the terrorists and their attacks are an example of this. Two such cases were reported recently in 2017. First on March 7, 2017, terrorists attacked Bhopal-Ujjain passenger trains with bombs. Jabri railway station in Madhya Pradesh's Shahjahanpur district exploded in which 10 people were injured. Second, on July 11, 2017, terrorists attacked the Amarnath Yatra in Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. Seven pilgrims were killed and six pilgrims were injured in the attack. These murders of innocent people are completely unfair and such attacks are completely illegal.
Due to these attacks our country has suffered heavy losses and economic instability. However, most of these attacks have taken place within the country's northwestern region. The state most affected by terrorism is Jammu and Kashmir. People living in this state are still scared of the attack of these terrorists, but these days terrorists are trying to spread their roots in the whole country as well as the whole world.
Not only us but the whole world are suffering due to these terrorist groups. Many countries such as Iraq and Iran are almost completely caught in the trap of these groups. People living in these countries are still fighting for their freedom. The reason for terrorism is the different views and religions of the people. Different religions are found in different places on this earth and when two different people of different religions meet, it causes conflict of different ideologies. We all have to understand that every person has their own thinking and beliefs.
Thus, terrorism is not only the problem of a specific country, but the whole world wants to get rid of terrorism. Solving the problem of terrorism is absolutely impossible for any country. It is an international problem and therefore every country should take action internationally.
With this I would like to conclude my speech and now you can take your water.

My greetings to all of you, I thank all of you for gathering in this seminar today. First of all, I welcome the honorable chief guest, respected Principal, Vice President, respected teachers and my dear students.
Like every year, today is the annual day of our school and today we have gathered here to discuss our society, family and other worrying issues. This year, we have chosen 'terrorism' as our theme, it has not only spread immensely in India, but it is also working to disrupt the peace and goodwill of every person by affecting the unity of the whole world. .
Terrorism can be defined as an ideology that achieves the main objective of advancing its political and economic interests by sacrificing the lives of common people through violence and bloodshed. The increasing influence of terrorism can be prevented with various actions and measures. The result of terrorism is always dangerous, its root cause may be social, religious or political, ethnic differences and exploitation or retaliation of one class or community of people by another.
It is mainly adopted by some anti-social elements to draw attention of political parties and citizens to a particular issue. Although terrorism is a global issue and its rise in India after independence has accelerated and today, it has become the most worrying issue for innocent civilians, many political parties are also responsible for this heinous crime somewhere.
The areas of India like Jammu and Kashmir, South and East Central India (Naxalites), Assam (ULFA), Jharkhand, West Bengal have been greatly affected by terrorism. According to MK Narayanan (National Security Advisor), there are about 800 terrorist organizations operating in India.
You all must have seen the news that most Pakistani terrorist activities in Kashmir i.e. ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) is inspired, while the Pakistani government always denies this.
One of the most important causes of terrorism in India is also due to religion which is affecting the sentiments of the younger generation. Many people have misgivings about 'religion' and some people take advantage of it by associating it with anti-social elements and try to shift the minds of innocent youth towards the stream of terrorism. According to the report, it has been reported that most of the deaths and incidents in India have been caused by religion-inspired terrorism.
Other causes of terrorism such as unemployment in rural areas, land reforms, exploitation of the poor by the owners, illiteracy, misuse of laborers can be economic reasons. For various other reasons, terrorist groups of various names supported by ideology like Marxist, Maoist are doing such work.
Unemployment, poverty, non-education, lack of basic facilities such as proper health care and transport system are some of the social issues that can create various terrorism groups against the government.
Terrorism is a very important issue of India today and it is equally dangerous for the whole world. Terrorism is not only fatal to humanity and a nightmare, but it also affects law, peace and harmony. Therefore, through this seminar we appeal to all of you, especially the youth, that you should stay away from all such elements which affect you in the name of religion, social or economic reason. Terrorism is never a solution to an issue, in fact it is only the result of the blood of innocent people who are not responsible for the present state of the country.
