Greetings to the Principal, Sir, Madam, and my dear colleagues. We have all gathered here to celebrate Children's Day with great pleasure. I want to express my thoughts on this occasion of Children's Day. Children are the future of the country along with being the cause of happiness in the family, at home, in society. We cannot ignore children's participation and contribution in the lives of parents, teachers and other relatives throughout life. Children are liked by everyone and life without children becomes very dull. They are the blessings of God and win our hearts with their beautiful eyes, innocent activities and smile. Children's Day is celebrated every year throughout the world to pay tribute to children.
It is celebrated on different dates in different countries however, it is celebrated on 14 November in India. In fact, 14 November is the birthday of the great freedom fighter and the first Prime Minister of Independent India (Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru). However, this day is celebrated as Children's Day due to his love and affection towards children. Though he was a political leader, he spent a lot of precious time with children and loved his innocence. The celebration of Children's Day brings lots of fun and frolic activities. The celebration of this day reminds us of renewing our commitment to children, including the welfare of children, proper health, care, education, and more. Children are given the ideals of Chacha Nehru and a lot of love and affection. This is an opportunity to praise the qualities of children.
Children are considered to be the foundation bricks of any strong nation. Children are small but have the ability to make positive changes in the nation. They are responsible citizens of tomorrow, because the development of the country is in their hands. Children's Day celebration is also a reminder of the rights that have been made for children and whether children are benefiting from them or not. Children are the leaders of tomorrow so they need respect, special care and protection from their parents, teachers and other family members. In our nation, they are exploited in many ways by family members, relatives, neighbors or other strangers. The celebration of Children's Day reminds children of the importance of family, society and the country. Following are some of the common rights of children that they must have.
They should receive proper care and love from family and parents.
They must get healthy food, clean clothes and safety.
They should have a healthy environment to live where they can feel safe at home, school or other places.
They should get proper and good quality education.
They should receive special care if they are disabled or ill.
To build a beautiful nation, we should take a pledge to unite and ensure the present and future of the country's leaders.

Respected Excellency, Principal, teacher and teachers and good morning to my classmates. As we all know that we have gathered here to celebrate the birthday of the first Prime Minister of independent India i.e. Children's Day. I want to give a speech on Children's Day to make this great festival a memorable celebration for me. Every year on 14 November, Children's Day is celebrated in schools and colleges across the country. November 14 is the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru.
His birthday is celebrated as Children's Day because he loved and loved children a lot. He gave great importance to children throughout his life and he also loved to talk to them. He always loved being surrounded by children. The children used to call him Chacha Nehru because of his love and affection for children.
The day is celebrated with cabinet ministers and high officials including some other important people gathered at the Shanti Bhavan, paying tribute to the great leader in the morning hours. They all offer flowers and garland at their tomb and chant prayers and mantras. Heartfelt tributes are dedicated to Uncle Nehru's selfless sacrifice, encouraging the youth, peaceful political achievements.
Different cultural programs and activities are organized by children in different schools and colleges to celebrate this day with great enthusiasm. National melodious and encouraging songs are sung, stage shows, dances, short plays etc. are organized by children in memory of the great Indian leader and his love for children. About Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, a large crowd is present to hear the students' speeches. Pt. Nehru always used to advise children to become patriots and patriots throughout their life. He always inspired children to go on adventure and sacrifice for their motherland.

He wanted to be surrounded by children throughout his life. He worked hard soon after India's independence for the betterment of the children and youth of the country.

As citizens of the country, we should understand our responsibilities and save the future of the nation.
Children's Day is celebrated by organizing a lot of fun and fun activities like sports, indoor games, outdoor sports, dance, drama-drama, national songs, speeches, essay writing etc. It is the day when all restrictions on children are lifted and they are allowed to celebrate according to their wishes. He was a very sociable person, always inspired and encouraged the children to become patriotic and happy citizens of the country. He was very concerned about the situation of children in the country because he considered children to be the future of the country. He wanted the children to be nurtured with great care and love for their bright future by their parents.
He considered children to be the real strengths of the country. He loved both girls and boys equally and believed in giving them equal opportunities for the real development of the nation. His genuine love for children caused him to get Chacha Nehru Naam (Pat Name). To pay tribute to him, since his death in 1964, his birthday was celebrated as Children's Day all over India. It is a variety of activities like; Singing, short plays, dances, essays, speeches etc. are celebrated by organizing competitions.
The celebration of Children's Day celebrates the importance of children in building the future of the country. The purpose of organizing this festival is for all Indian citizens to protect their young children by protecting them from all losses and providing them a better childhood. Nowadays, children are falling prey to many kinds of social evils such as: drugs, child abuse, alcohol, sex, wages, violence etc. They are forced to work hard to get a small amount of money at a very young age. They are deprived of healthy life, parental love, education, and other childhood joys. Children are the precious assets of the nation as well as the hope of future and tomorrow, so they should get proper care and love.
