Speech on Knowledge is Power -1

Dear friends - Hello everyone! Hope you are all healthy and happy.

Today I am here to give a speech on the subject called "Knowledge is power". I hope that everyone present here will be familiar with this subject and agree with it as well. There is no greater power than the power of knowledge. Knowledge, as we all know, is actually freedom. Education lays the foundation for progress in every family and in every society. It empowers the nation and allows its people to rule over time. If a person is knowledgeable, he will be able to change the situation, event or a person in his favor for this matter. A person's ability, talent or ability to perform is entirely dependent on his level of understanding, education and knowledge. Therefore knowledge is a condition for success.

Since ancient times, humans have been able to top themselves on the list of living beings, including the natural objects of the world, which have acquired all this with the power of their knowledge. Not only our earth house but man has also been able to conquer the sky and the sea. He was able to delve into the depths of the womb of the earth and has managed to find wealth. He has been using water, air and other natural elements to effectively work on his machinery.

It is through our own deep scientific knowledge that we have succeeded in solving various mysteries of nature. The origins of science began during the early times when humans invented fire and learned to use it for various purposes. Since then, the field of science and technology has not looked back and made huge progress. Through the understanding of various knowledge of science, man is capable of conquering diseases and has also managed to cure those diseases. This has not only increased the life span of man on this earth but has also made his life more comfortable. It has given man a high level of material progress. It has brought the whole world so close that mankind living in different remote parts of the world have come in contact with each other. It has transformed the world into a global community.

However, it has not always been so good or ideal. Economic development has led to the creation of two classes of people, ie rich and poor. Worse, it has led to exploitation of poor people at the hands of the rich class. This is not the end. Knowledge has empowered humans through the manufacture of deadly weapons. Two disastrous wars in the last century have taught man that the weapons stored in man's arsenal can transform this beautiful world into a morgue.

So it is up to us how we use education or wealth of knowledge - whether it is for the good of mankind or for its destruction.

Thank you!

Speech on Knowledge is Power -2

Respected Principal, Vice-Principal, teachers and my dear friends - good morning everyone!

First of all, I want to thank our Principal and teachers for giving me this wonderful opportunity to speak on the subject called "Knowledge is power". As a student I can fully feel the power of knowledge because what I am doing today was not 2 years ago and what I will be two years from today is not what I am today. I am constantly evolving and making myself intellectually a better person with the power of knowledge. Now I have a better understanding of this world and can understand the feeling of this universe better than I wanted to do it before.

By power I do not mean that it is the power to destroy anyone but the power of light and knowledge shows us the right path and helps us understand the science behind how this universe works. How the sun shines, how the stars shine, how it rains, etc. Through the knowledge of how this natural world works, we are able to enjoy our existence on this earth, otherwise without education we will remain in the darkness of ignorance or illiteracy.

Thus knowledge is defined as information and skills acquired through education and experience. Since time immemorial, every person is getting restless to gain supremacy over this world or to rule intellectually over other people. Therefore this power should not be confined to or limited to physical power.

Friends, let me tell you, knowledge is greater than physical strength because physical strength can fail once but not intellectual power. Apart from this, physical strength does not stay together for life, but it is the power of knowledge. Knowledge helps solve mysteries and find rational explanations of things in this world. Knowledge enables us to understand the science behind the work of nature.

In ancient times people did not have the necessary knowledge about the functioning of this world or various aspects of nature. They were living in an animal-like state where they did not even know about the place in which they were living. They could not understand the flow of nature. They were afraid of wild animals and felt scared and helpless even from the minor incidents of natural disasters like floods, storms, earthquakes etc. Because of this situation, they used to move from one place to another for safe passage.

However the situation has changed a lot at the present time and we are no longer ignorant. Man is able to gain a great deal of experience from the great wealth of knowledge and rich experience that our forefathers left behind in the form of books and scriptures. Now we have a good knowledge about our world, nature and other things which happen every day and night. Since we are empowered by knowledge, we can control animals and make them productive for mankind. Knowledge has indeed given us enough strength to expand our reach to other planets and go to the moon and find a cure for various deadly diseases.

Now I request my friends to share their thoughts and bring forward their valuable points.

Thank you!

Speech on Knowledge is Power -3

Dear Audience - Hello everyone! A big thank you to all of you for making your presence known in this speech. I am extremely excited and grateful to you all for making your contribution in every way possible to educate the privileged children.

Today I am here to give a speech on "Knowledge is power" so that more and more people realize the importance of education and send their children to school - whether it is man or woman and help other children too Those who do not have money to go to school.

I am sure all of you will know the saying that knowledge is power. A person who is knowledgeable can think rationally and make the right decision. This gives them the power to control future action and review its future development. More often than not we associate powers with those who are physically well-built or have great influence in society due to their wealth. When two warriors fight, we definitely believe that the strong man will win, similarly the country which has a large army is more likely to be victorious in war.

However if we think deeply then we will come to know that knowledge makes a person more powerful and not physical strength. Knowledge plays an important role but physical knowledge without knowledge is like a blind person who cannot face a person with sharp eyes.

The side that has a strong army in the fight has the advantage without any doubt but this advantage can fail if the army in the opposition has a leader who is deeply aware of the strategy of the war. Take for example Alexander who managed to defeat large armies with only a group of Greek soldiers who had to fight from their own homeland. This was due to Alexander's grand talent or his leadership qualities. But who was this leadership related to? This was all because of the quickness, strength and mental acumen of the movement. Alexander's main qualities were his army men, knowledge of his enemy's country and his strength, strategies as well as a thorough knowledge of war tactics. This is the surest way to succeed in a war and Alexander had enough intelligence to understand it. Other factors also play an important role but knowledge is the highest.

How does knowledge ensure that man's increasing power can be felt around him or in the natural environment. Man had no knowledge of nature in ancient times and believed that fairies and spirits were inhabited on hills and trees. They believed in gods and ghosts and were inactive themselves, but now times have changed and man has been able to solve various mysteries which were hidden in the womb of the earth and the knowledge of man in daily increasing control over natural forces. Can be seen Man has invented electric energy and now he flies into the air and floats on the ocean. He is no longer afraid of a minor natural disaster because he knows how to overcome them. He has now built dams and bridges over rivers to convert water power into electrical energy or to use water for irrigation and factories and mills.

Thus knowledge is a boon for humanity provided it is used for constructive purposes.

Thank you!

Speech on Knowledge is Power -4

Respected parents and my dear friends - Hello from all of you!

Before starting my speech on "Knowledge is Power" allow me to thank all the parents for bringing the children out of their comfortable lives in this ceremony and spreading the light of knowledge to educate the underprivileged children. Give Nothing can be better than giving the gift of knowledge to poor children and young people.

Poverty is a disease in itself. We cannot eradicate poverty from our country by only taking money out of our pocket by giving it to the poor or providing food to their empty stomachs once rather than till we get to the root cause of this problem and solve it. We see daily that many poor families are illiterate or can barely read and write. Since they do not have enough money to send their children to school, they get their children working to earn less money and thus their next generation also suffer from poverty and deprived of knowledge.

Thus it becomes our responsibility as educated global citizens to spread knowledge around ourselves and educate others so that poverty is completely eradicated. If we have knowledge then we can have the power to influence the world in a better way and help others in other ways. Knowledge also develops our self-esteem and makes us more aware of ourselves - we should behave and interact with others in our community. In other words, knowledge makes us a rational human being.

As it is said that with knowledge comes power - that is, the power to understand what is right and what is wrong. If we take the wrong path or risky road, then we should also be prepared for bad results. However if one lives in the darkness of illiteracy then how will he realize the importance of light ie knowledge! This remains a reasonable question.

Knowledge is not about obtaining formal education but it is a combination of education, skills and experience. It can also be in the form of abstract knowledge that mathematicians use. Otherwise it can also be a carpenter or engineer who uses their practical knowledge. Thirdly it can also be a form of experience where a person is able to work his way out and solve real-time problems and the most powerful person will be the person who acquires these three qualities.

Another thing I would like to say is that knowledge allows us to be independent and make us independent. Freedom is indeed necessary to be a real power. Second, it also means that we do not use our power over others and bring them under our control. Thus knowledge not only empowers us but also helps us in empowering others and makes every place a paradise for living. that's all I can say.

Thank you.
