Speech on Swami Vivekananda - 2

Good morning friends - how are you all?

Hope everyone is enjoying the classes of spirituality and meditation as much as the teachers are enjoying. Apart from meditation, it is also important to share information about the great spiritual master named Swami Vivekananda.

Swami Vivekananda, born in Calcutta in the Datta family, adopted the agnostic philosophy that was prevalent in the West with developments in science. At the same time there was a strong passion in him to unravel the mystery surrounding God and he also raised doubts about the sacred reputation of some people whether anyone had ever seen or spoken to God.

When Swami Vivekananda was struggling with this dilemma, he came in contact with Sri Ramakrishna who later became his mentor and helped him find answers to his questions, introduced him to the vision of God and turned him into a prophet. Or what you can say is a sage with the power to teach. Swami Vivekananda's personality was so inspiring that he became a very famous figure not only in India but also abroad, especially in America, at the end of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th century.

Who knew that this personality would achieve so much fame in such a short time? This unknown monk from India gained fame in the Parliament of Religion held in Chicago in the year 1893. Swami Vivekananda went there to promote Hinduism and expressed his views on both Eastern and Western culture, including a deep sense of spirituality. His well-expressed ideas of sympathy for mankind and his multi-faceted personality left a unique impression on the Americans who heard his speech. All those who saw or heard him praised him as long as he lived.

He went to America with a mission to spread knowledge about our great Indian spiritual culture, especially Vedantic sources. He also tried to awaken the religious consciousness of the people there with the help of humanistic and rational teachings from Vedanta philosophy. In the US, he represented India as his spiritual ambassador and sincerely asked the people to develop mutual understanding between India and the West so that the two worlds together could form a union of both religion and science.

Swami Vivekananda is seen on our motherland as a great saint of contemporary India and a man who gave a new dimension to the national consciousness that was previously dormant. He taught Hindus to believe in a religion that empowers people and unites them. Service to mankind is seen as a clear manifestation of the deity and is a special form of prayer that he asked the Indian people to adopt rather than believe in rituals and old myths. In fact various Indian political leaders have openly acknowledged their indebtedness towards Swami Vivekananda.

In the end, I will only say that he was the great lover of mankind and his life experiences always inspired people and renewed the desire to attain the spirit of man.

Thank you!

Speech on Swami Vivekananda - 3

Respected Principals, Vice Principals, teachers and my dear fellow students - Good morning to all of you!

I am going to give a speech on Swami Vivekananda on the occasion of Sakshi Mittal - World Spirituality Day from class 10th. Many of us do not know much about Swami Vivekananda, a great spiritual legend born in India. Although he was an Indian by birth, the mission of his life was not limited to national boundaries but far beyond. He devoted his life to the service of mankind which certainly extended beyond national boundaries. He tried throughout his life to spread human brotherhood and peace on the spiritual basis of the Vaidanta Sangha of existence. The sage Swami Vivekananda from the highest order attained the experience of a unified and intuitive experience of the real, material world. They derived their ideas from that unique source of knowledge and time and then introduced them to the astonishing form of poetry.

Shri Vivekananda and his disciples had a natural tendency to rise above the human tendency and to remain immersed in absolute meditation. However, we cannot deny that there was another part of his personality that sympathized with the people after witnessing the anguished and traumatized situation. Perhaps it was because his mind was in a state of excitement and rest, in serving the entire human race and meditating on God. His great obedience to high authority and service to mankind made him an endearing personality not only for Native Indians but especially for Americans as well.

Apart from this, he was part of one of the magnificent religious institutions of contemporary India and he founded the Ramakrishna Order of Monks. It is dedicated not only to the spread of Hindu spiritual values in India but also abroad, especially in America. He once referred to himself as 'Condensed India'.

Their value of education and life is incomparable to Westerners because it helps them study Asian minds. Harvard philosopher, William James, referred to Swami Vivekananda as the "Paragon of Vedantists". The celebrated 19th-century Orientalists Paul Dusen and Max Müller held him with great respect and reverence. According to Renain Roland "his words" are nothing short of great lyrical composition such as Beethoven's music or Handel's chorus.

Thus I urge everyone to reestablish the writings of Swami Vivekananda and pay tribute to him. His work is like an undiscovered precious gem in the library, so leave your dull life and take inspiration from his work and life.

Now I will request my fellow students to come on stage and share their thoughts as it will help all of us a lot.

Thank you.

Speech on Swami Vivekananda - 4

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen - I welcome you all to this speech ceremony today!

I want to give a speech on Abhimanyu Kashyap, your host for today, the great spiritual leader of India i.e. Swami Vivekananda. It is needless to mention that he was undoubtedly the world famous sage. Swami Vivekananda, born on 12 January 1863 in the city of Calcutta, was known to Narendranath Dutta in his early years. His father's name was Vishwanath Dutta, an educated lawyer in the High Court of Calcutta. Narendranath did not get education on regular basis. However he took his primary education in a school in the suburban area with his other friends.

Because of fear with bad children, Narendranath was not allowed to attend higher secondary school. But he was again sent to the Metropolitan Institution, whose foundation was laid by Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. His personality had different categories i.e. he was not only a good actor but also a great scholar, wrestler and sportsman. He attained great knowledge in Sanskrit subject. The most important thing is that he was walking the path of truth and he never lied.

We all know that great social reformers as well as freedom fighters have taken birth on our motherland. He devoted his entire life to the service of mankind and Swami Vivekananda is one of those true gems of India. He gave up his entire life to serve the country and helped people rise above their miserable condition. Apart from doing philanthropic work, he lived his life by reading books written on science, religion, history, philosophy, art, social science etc. At the same time, he also praised Hindu literature like Mahabharata, Ramayana, Bhagavad-Gita, Upanishads and Vedas which helped to shape his thinking to a large extent. He received training in Indian classical music. He passed the fine arts examination and received a degree in Bachelor of Arts in the year 1884.

He always quoted the Vedas and Upanishads and imparted spiritual training to those who prevented a situation of crisis or chaos in India. The squeeze of this message is that "Truth is one: sages call it by different names".

The four main points of this theory are as follows:

Divinity of soul
Almighty God dual existence
Sense of unity in religions
Unity in existence
The last words written to his followers were as follows:

"It may happen that I give up my body and leave it like a worn-out cloth. But I will not stop working. I will inspire humans everywhere until the whole world realizes that God is the eternal truth . "

He lived for a short period of 39 years and in the midst of all his challenging physical conditions, he left four sections of classes for his future generations i.e. Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga and Karma Yoga - all of these glorious on Hindu Philosophy There are texts. And with that I want to end my speech.

Thank you!
