Speech on the value of education 1

Good morning Principal, teachers and my fellow students!

Shashank Sharma from class 12th I wish to give a speech on the value of education. You must have been surprised after seeing me on stage. Actually there is no specific but deep reason behind this speech ceremony.

During the summer holidays I had the wonderful opportunity to meet an NGO that educates underprivileged children. By meeting him I realized how lucky we are that we have been blessed with life to study in Delhi's top schools and achieve all the possible things that we want. My experience of life changed to a great extent when I saw the pitiable condition of those children. All the 12-year-olds could not read and write properly like any student. Unfortunately, they were all deprived of good quality education because they did not have enough money to pay for school fees. We always blame God for everything else but rarely do we thank God for giving us such a privileged life.

I decided to empower those children with quality education, non-governmental organizations with which I am connected so that they can start seeing positive changes in their lives. So I am here in front of all you students so that you can realize the value of education. Education is the most empowering tool for mankind, especially for the underprivileged section of society who have nothing but to acquire education to achieve a prosperous existence. We must recognize the importance of education and study honestly as it helps in the development of mankind and makes the nation at large a prosperity in the world. It helps us become civilized and distinguishes our identity from barbaric beings. Education leads us from darkness to light and offers us such boons as rationality, tolerance, power to achieve goals, etc.

However, it is important to get the right kind of education as it gives overall benefits to mankind rather than leading the society to decline. For example, we can see that every country is trying to make itself the most powerful in the world and dominate other nations. Every country wants to get the world's most powerful weapons and nuclear bombs so that it can dominate or terrorize other countries. Here I am not here to discuss such destructive knowledge which aims at destruction and war. Knowledge of weapons and atomic bombs is good as long as it is used to protect oneself, but currently it is used for unnecessary bloodshed and human slaughter. Doing so can result in loss of knowledge.

Therefore, continuous efforts should be made to make a distinction between good knowledge and bad knowledge and to educate ourselves with the right to education so that we can bring people and nations together and prevail such as poverty, ignorance, unemployment, crime etc. To completely evict evils from our society.

I urge every student not only to study honestly but also to share knowledge with others.

Thank you.

Speech on the value of education 2

Respected management committee members and my dear teachers - Hello from all of you!

I, Krishna Awasthi, one of the founding members of our ABC NGO group, welcome all of you to our community hall. As you all know that we have successfully completed one year and now our group is on the verge of expanding - I am very happy to give this news and I am sure that all of you dignitaries here think the same Must have been There is no doubt that we have sweated our blood for this NGO group and hearing the news of its expansion is no longer our happiness.

Therefore, I am very much keen to give a speech on the value of education on this wonderful occasion as education drives us and encourages us to form such NGO groups and educate the disadvantaged masses. However, there are some shortcomings in the way our NGO works, so allow me to tell so that we can make our tomorrow as much better as possible.

Initially, with 10 students and now 50 children overseeing the education, it is clear that we are gradually bringing more children so that many children can benefit from it. Education is clearly a very important tool if it is used well. By giving good education to our children, we can empower them and increase them from our very existence. Education is the only thing that will stay with him for his lifetime and will help him grow into a strong person.

Apart from all this, I would also like to say something else. Although we are doing a really good job and getting positive feedback from the children but I still feel that something is missing and that is additional practice activities. The true value of education for me is not just in reading books and performing well in exams but also about its practical applications. We should not make our students only robots who cannot do anything by applying their own mind. For this, apart from academics like dance, singing, painting, poetry writing, sculpture etc., we need to start other activities for them. Of course it is not possible to give all these facilities to our students due to lack of funds, but we will definitely work for it. In this way our students will gain confidence to develop their personality.

Let us try to inculcate good values in them and develop a spiritual outlook in them so that they grow up not as self-centered individuals but as individuals who can contribute to the development of this society and humanity. I know that we are making progress on our way. We will make our children strong and confident people who will be able to deal with any difficult situation while maintaining their morality.

That is all I had to say to all of you and now I request everyone to give their valuable feedback and suggestions so that we can plan the course of action accordingly.

Thank you.

Speech on the value of education 3

Respected Principal, Vice President, Teachers, my dear students and all parents - Hello everyone!

Today was the day of the parent-teacher meeting. I hope that the entire meeting has been well and the parents will have received proper feedback from their respective teachers of their children. In addition to the parent-teacher meeting, the managing committee also decided to organize a speech distribution ceremony on the topic called 'Value of Education'. Since this topic is relevant for everyone, the parent-teacher meeting day is the most favorable for this ceremony.

I have been selected to give a speech on this subject, being a social science teacher of Sharmishtha Vasistha Secondary classes. Although this opportunity is right to speak on this subject, but I have not prepared to speak because this subject is so close to our heart, anyone can speak on it and present their valid points. So instead of listening to yourself here, I would like you to raise questions so that all of you can participate with each other on this subject and guide others.

I ask all the audience here - what exactly is education? Is it only about academics, acquiring basic skills and being a rationalist? Or is it more than that? And if it is more than that, can it be defined in clear terms? As far as my opinion is concerned, I would like to say that education is a process that works for a lifetime and provides every possible experience whether it is formal or informal set up. Therefore education I believe is not limited to some books or classroom studies, but more than that. Its purpose should not be about learning facts and figures, but acquiring skills. Everything has to be done, our inner strengths must be realized and ready to shine those powers which do not Only we get the benefit of this but our society and humanity can also attract a positive force on a large scale.

Unfortunately, at the present time, we have left behind the primary objective of education, which in today's time is the assumption of getting more marks. Apart from this, the basic objective of education has been distorted by government policies, double standards of our society and certainly poor economic growth. I am sure you all must have heard these lines which are on everyone's tongue these days, "read India, only then India will grow" but how can India progress when most of the Indian population lives below the poverty line and Can not even meet your basic needs?

Education has become a money-making business for private schools and the education system in government schools is still very poor. How can we eliminate this gap? And how can we stop such schools from doing huge fundraising in the name of education? The level of value of education can be raised only when no child is deprived of education and makes the best use of his / her potential. Secondly, the focus should be not only on getting maximum marks but on acquiring practical skills which can later become a good source of income for those students and can help in improving the economy of the country. needed.

Therefore we should work together to join hands as an educational institution and make education accessible to every child living around us and our students should first try to become quality human beings and then great scholars.

Thank you!

Speech on the value of education 4

Greetings to all of our distinguished guests, respected principals, teachers and my dear friends!

Every child is born in this world with "trailing clouds of heavenly glory". And suddenly these little messengers sent by God find themselves full of fear, doubt and confusion. The role of education is important here. When these God's gifts conflict with fear, apprehension and doubt, education protects them and helps them to overcome darkness, their fears and their doubts. When this happens the world appears bright and happy and helps children to become good human beings.

But education does not come on its own because there should be a middleman who can impart knowledge and show them the right path. In such a situation, surely a teacher can play the right role and is someone who has a lot of experience and helps children to distinguish between right and wrong. Of course, parents act as excellent guides for children and help them to grow into a responsible citizen, as it is not enough to acquire empty book knowledge. Going beyond this, children should learn how to live their lives, improve their behavior, be polite and how to treat others. Education is then completed and considered appropriate to serve its purpose.

Let me share with you a brief story on the value of education. Once a person was passing through the desert, suddenly he heard the voice of someone who was saying, "Take some pebbles and keep them with you and tomorrow will bring both joy and sorrow to you".

The man did the same and woke up the next morning when he searched his pocket and found rubies, diamonds and emeralds. He was both happy and sad at the time. He was happy because he picked pebbles and was sad that he did not choose more pebbles. The same is true of education.

So my dear friend, let us keep the value of education so that we do not feel sad in the days to come. Education is money that no one can steal but you can share it with others as well. He said that it is important to be fully vigilant about what we are sharing with others in the form of knowledge because we are sharing knowledge for a meaningful and good life rather than something that destroys people and communities will do it.

Education is the most powerful tool so use it wisely. If you are a resourceful person, help others identify the difference between right and wrong and moral values by sharing knowledge. If education will be based on values and policies, reinforced by good moral principles, then our generation will grow up as rational beings. On the contrary, if education will be established on selfish reasons, then no one can stop that society from collapse and there will be chaos everywhere.

So let us take the responsibility of imparting good values to our coming generation and vow to never forget the primary objective of education to become good and responsible global citizens.

Thank you!
