Republic Day Speech - 1

Good morning to my venerable headmaster Madam, my venerable Sir and Madam, and to all my classmates. I would like to thank you for giving such a great opportunity to speak something on our Republic Day. My name is Anant Srivastava and I study in class 6.

Today, all of us have gathered here to celebrate the 71st Republic Day of our nation. This is a great and auspicious occasion for all of us. We should congratulate each other and pray to God for the development and prosperity of our nation. We celebrate Republic Day in India every year on 26 January because the Constitution of India came into force on this day. We have been continuously celebrating the Republic Day of India since 1950 because the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950.

India is a democratic country where the people are authorized to choose their leader to lead the country. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first President of India. Ever since we gained independence from British rule in 1947, our country has developed a lot and has been counted among powerful countries. Along with development, some shortcomings have also arisen such as inequality, poverty, unemployment, corruption, illiteracy etc. To make our country one of the best countries in the world, today we need to take a pledge to solve such problems in the society.

Thank you, Jai Hind!

Republic Day Speech - 2

Good morning everyone. My name is Anant Srivastava and I study in class 6. As we all know that we have gathered here on the very special occasion of our nation, which is called Republic Day. I want to read before you a speech on Republic Day. First of all I would like to thank my class teacher, because of which I got a golden opportunity to say something about my beloved country on this great occasion of Republic Day on this stage of my school.

Since 15 August 1947, India is a self-governing country. India gained independence from British rule on August 15 in 1947, which we celebrate as Independence Day. However, from 1950 to 26 January we celebrate Republic Day. The Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950, so we celebrate this day every year as Republic Day. This year in 2020, we are celebrating India's 71st Republic Day.

Republic means that only the people have the right to choose their representatives as political leaders for the supreme power of the people living in the country and to lead the country in the right direction. Therefore, India is a republic country where people choose their leader as the Prime Minister. Our great Indian freedom fighters fought a lot for "Purna Swaraj" in India. He sacrificed his life so that his upcoming generation does not have to struggle and take the country forward.

The great leaders and freedom fighters of our country are Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri etc. These people fought continuously against the British to make India a free country. We can never forget his dedication to our country. We should salute them by remembering them on such great occasions. Only because of these people is it possible that we can think with our mind and live free in our nation without any pressure.

Our first Indian President was Dr. Rajendra Prasad who said, "Under the jurisdiction of a constitution and a union, we have got together the entire land of this vast land which is more than 320 crore men and women living here. Takes responsibility for welfare. How shameful it is to say that we are still fighting crime, corruption and violence (in the form of terrorism, rape, theft, riots, strike etc.) in our country. Again, everyone needs to be together to save the country from such slavery as it is pulling its country back from its mainstream of development and progress. To go ahead and solve them, we should be aware of our social issues like poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, global warming, inequality etc.

Dr. Abdul Kalam has stated that "If a country is freed of corruption and becomes a nation of beautiful minds, I feel strongly that there are three core members who can make a difference." He is a father, mother and a guru ”. As a citizen of India, we should think about it seriously and make all possible efforts to advance our country.

Thank you, Jai Hind.

 Republic Day Speech - 3

I would like to say my morning greetings to my esteemed headmaster, teacher, teacher, and all my classmates. As we all know that we have gathered here to celebrate the 66th Republic Day of our nation. This is a very auspicious occasion for all of us. Since 1950, we celebrate Republic Day with lot of joy and happiness every year. Before the start of the festival, our chief guests hoist the national flag of the country. After this we all stand and sing the national anthem which is a symbol of unity and peace of India. Our national anthem is written by the great poet Rabindranath Tagore.

Our national flag has a circle in the middle with three colors and 24 equal matchsticks. All three colors of the Indian national flag have their own meaning. The saffron color at the top shows the strength and courage of our country. The white color in the middle indicates peace while the green color at the bottom indicates growth and prosperity. In the center of the flag is a navy blue colored circle with 24 equal matchsticks which represents the Dharma Chakra of the great King Ashoka.

We celebrate Republic Day on 26 January because the Indian Constitution came into existence on this day in 1950 itself. In the Republic Day celebration, a big event is organized by the Government of India at Rajpath in New Delhi in front of India Gate. Every year, a chief guest (Prime Minister of the country) is called to fulfill the purpose of saying "Atithi Devo Bhava:" to increase the brightness of this festival. The Indian Army salutes the national flag along with the parade on the occasion. A large exhibition of Indian culture and tradition is also shown by different states to demonstrate unity in diversity in India.

Thank you, Jai Hind.

Republic Day Speech - 4

I would like to say my morning greetings to my esteemed Principal, my teachers, my seniors and classmates. Let me give you some information about this special occasion. Today we are all celebrating the 71st Republic Day of our nation. It started celebrating in 1947, two and a half years after India's independence from 1950. We celebrate it every year on 26 January because the Constitution of India came into existence on this day. After gaining independence from British rule in 1947, India was not a self-governing country, ie not a sovereign state. India became a self-governing country when its constitution came into force in 1950.

India is a democratic country, which has no king or queen to rule here, although its people are the rulers here. Every citizen living in this country has equal rights, no one can become Chief Minister or Prime Minister without our vote. We have the right to choose our best Prime Minister or any other leader to provide leadership in the right direction to the country. Our leader should have enough skill to think in favor of his country. He should think equally about all the states, villages and cities of the country so that India can become a well developed country without any discrimination, irrespective of race, religion, poor, rich, upper class, middle class, lower class, illiteracy etc.

Our leaders should be of a dominating nature in favor of the country, so that every officer can follow all the rules and regulations properly. To make this country a corruption-free country, all authorities should follow the Indian rules and regulations. Only a corruption-free India with "unity in diversity" will be a genuine and true country. Our leaders should not think of themselves as a special person, because they are one of us and they are selected according to their ability to lead the country. He is chosen by us to give his true service to India for a limited interval. Therefore, there should be no dilemma between their importance and power and office.

As Indian citizens, we are also fully responsible towards our country. We should make ourselves regular, read the news and be aware of the events happening in the country, what is happening right and wrong, what our leaders are doing and first of all what we are doing for our country. In the past, India was a slave country under British rule and gained independence after many years of struggle through the sacrifices of thousands of our freedom fighters. Therefore, we should not easily let go of all our valuable sacrifices and again let it not be a slave to corruption, illiteracy, inequality and other social discrimination. Today is the best day when we should pledge to preserve the true meaning, status, prestige and most important culture of our country.

Thank you, Jai Hind

Speech on republic day 5

Dear guests, Principal, teachers, teachers, my seniors and my classmates, good morning. my name........ I study in class .... It is a great privilege for me to give a speech on this great festival of our Republic Day. First of all, I heartily congratulate my class teacher for giving me a chance to speak on the occasion of this great Indian Republic Day. My dear friends, we have gathered here today to celebrate the most special celebration of our nation. We celebrate Republic Day on 26 January every year due to the coming into force of the Indian Constitution and declaring India as a republic.

I am very proud to be a citizen of India. On this day, we hoist the national flag of India and sing the national anthem to show our heartfelt respect for our republican country. It is celebrated in schools, colleges, universities, educational institutions, banks and many other places all over the country. The Indian Constitution came into force on 26 January 1950. The period between 1947 and 1950 was a time of change and King George I was the head of state while Lord Mountbatten and C. Rajagopalacharya became the governors of India.

After the Indian Constitution came into existence on 26 January 1950, the Government of India Act 1935 was kept as the official documents of India. In 1949, the Constitution of India was adopted by the Constitutional Committee on 26 November, although it was later declared as a fully independent republic in 1950 with a democratic government system. 26 January was specially chosen because on this same day in 1930, the Indian National Congress declared Indian independence i.e. complete independence. In 1950, after the adoption of the Constitution, the Republic became the first President of India, Rajendra Prasad.

A grand parade is organized by the Indian armies (by all three armies) in the national capital (New Delhi) as well as in the state capitals of the country. The parade of the national capital starts at Raisina Hill (near Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the Indian President) and ends at the old India Gate via Rajpath. Along with the Indian Army, the states of the country also participate in the parade to showcase the culture and traditions of their country. On this day, our country invites the Chief Guest (King, Prime Minister or President of another country) to carry on the tradition of "Atithi Devo Bhava" on 26 January. The President of India, the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian armies, takes the salute by the Indian forces. The Prime Minister of India, Amar Jawan Jyoti, pays floral tributes to the martyred Indian soldiers at India Gate. The celebration of Republic Day continues continuously till 29 January which ends with the Beating Retreat ceremony. On this day, every Indian shows his / her respect for the Constitution.

Jai Hind Jai Bharat

Speech on republic day 6

Good morning to my honorable principals, teachers, teachers, my classmates. My name…. I study in class ....... I am giving a speech on Republic Day in front of you. I am very thankful to my class teacher for giving me the opportunity to express my views on this great occasion of Republic Day. My dear friends, we celebrate this national festival every year in memory of the Constitution and in honor of it. It is celebrated by teachers and students in all schools and colleges, however, it is also celebrated in government offices and other institutions in all states across the country. The main event takes place at the national capital, New Delhi, Rajpath, India Gate, in front of the President of India and invited chief guest of another country. A grand ceremony parade is held at Rajpath to show their gratitude for India.

On this day, the Constitution of India came into existence in 1950, however, it was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949. On 26 January 1930, India was declared a complete self-government by the Indian National Congress, that is why only on 26 January was elected to implement the Constitution of India. After it became operational, the Union of India officially became the Republic of India from this time, replacing the Indian Government Act 1935 with the original Government papers. Our country was declared a sovereign, secular, socialist and democratic republic by the Constitution. Our Constitution ensures justice, freedom and honor among the citizens of India.

Our Constitution was drafted by the Constituent Assembly (389 members). It took about three years (actually, 2 years, 11 months and 18 days) to build. The Constituent Committee was constituted by the Constituent Assembly in 1947, on 29 August, under the chairmanship of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The main members of the draft committee are Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Jawaharlal Nehru, Ganesh Vasudev Malwankar, C. Rajagopalacharya Ji, Sanjay Pakhe, Balwant Rai Mehta, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Canhaya Lal Munshi, Rajendra Prasad, Maulana Abtus Kalam Azad, Nalini Rajan Ghosh. , Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Sandeep Kumar Patel. Out of all the members of the draft committee, more than 30 members were from the scheduled caste. Some of the important women in the committee were Sarojini Naidu, Rajkumari Amrit Kaur, Durga Devi Deshmukh, Hansa Mehta and Vijay Laxmi. The Constitution of India empowers citizens to choose their own government.

India got independence on 15 August 1947, however, after adopting the constitution, it became sovereign, democratic and republic. In the national capital, the National Tricolor is given a salute of 21 Topo followed by the national anthem Jana Gana-Mana. It is organized by the Indian Army in front of the President and Chief Guest of India. School children also display their artistry through dancing and singing by participating in the parade. In order to show unity in India's diversity, it incorporates tableaux as per the states on the Rajpath.

Long speech on republic day 7

First of all, I extend my heartiest greetings to all of you and express my gratitude, which gave me the opportunity to speak a few words on this holy bella. I salute all the gurus and guardians present here, and I want permission to take my point forward.

We have all gathered here to celebrate our 71st Republic Day.

Our country is a country of festivals. Here, two to four festivals are held every month. But among them, the three festivals are the most important, which is called the national festival. On 26 January, 15 August and 2 October, Republic Day, Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti are celebrated as National festivals, respectively.

On this day, our country was declared a full republic nation. Our country became independent on 15 August 1947 after a long struggle for independence and millions of sacrifices. But this independence was incomplete; At that time our country was divided into several pieces, which was the biggest challenge of the country.

Our country had no written constitution of its own. No discipline is possible to develop without discipline. Whether a person or a country. Keeping this in mind, the Constituent Assembly was formed, which had 299 members. It was presided over by Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Its first meeting was held in December 1946. And in 2 years 11 months 18 days, finally on 26 November 1949 it was ready. It was implemented on 26 January 1950 across the country.

There is also a historical story behind it, this day was not chosen for Republic Day. There is a big reason behind this. On this day, on 26 January 1930, at the Lahore session, the Congress announced Purna Swaraj on the banks of river Ravi.

Our constitution is the largest written constitution in the world, which after reading the constitutions of different countries, their good things have been adopted. The Government of India Act 1935 had the greatest impact on the Constitution. Out of our 395 articles, 250 are taken from this. 'Parliamentary system' from Britain, 'Fundamental rights' from America,' Presidential election system 'from Ireland,' Republic structure 'and' Freedom parity fraternity 'from France,' Concurrent list 'from Australia,' Emergency 'from Germany,' The Rajya Sabha has taken the 'Preamble' from South Africa, the Soviet Union.

All these things have been said about construction. Now, let's discuss what is in the constitution on the go.

The original constitution had 395 Articles, 22 Parts and 8 Schedules. Our country is based on a parliamentary system, whose head is the parliament, that is, the supreme parliament of the country's governance. Parliament has three parts - Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and President. There are currently 395 articles, 22 parts and 12 schedules.

A parade is performed on Rajpath on this occasion. Around 8 am, the President carries out the flag and takes salute of the three armies. The three forces then demonstrate their powers, and perform tricks in the sky. Different states also get tableau for their respective specialties.

Today, on this holy occasion, President of Brazil, Jair Bolonsaro, has come to see the glory of India at the invitation of the Prime Minister. On this pretext, the whole world is aware of our power.

The great people of our country have fulfilled their responsibility by giving us freedom and framing the Constitution. In a democracy there is a system of the people, the public is the Janardan. Therefore, it becomes our fundamental duty to protect and respect the system and constitution of our country. With these words, I stop my speech.

Jai Hind Jai Bharat!
