ପ୍ରଶ୍ନବାଚକ (Interrogative)
Can anybody/anyone bear such an insult ? କେହି କ’ଣ ଏତେ ଅପମାନ ସହି ପାରିବେ କି ?
Is not health more precious than wealth? କ’ଣ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଧନଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ୍ ନୁହେଁ ?
Did they not enjoy at the party? କ’ଣ ଭୋଜିରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ ମିଳିଲା ନାହିଁ ?
Shall we ever forget these good days. କ’ଣ ଆମେ କେବେ ଏହି ଭଲ ଦିନ ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଭୁଲି ପାରିବା ?
(Assertive) ବିସ୍ମୟାପକ
Nobody/No one can bear such an insult.କୌଣସି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଏତେ ଅପମାନ ସହି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ।
Health is more precious than wealth. ସ୍ଵାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଧନ ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ଅଟେ ।
They enjoyed the party. ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୋଜିରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ମିଳିଲା ।
We'll never be able to forget these good days. ଆମେ ଏହି ଭଲ ଦିନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ କେବେ ଭୁଲି ପାରିବୁ ନାହିଁ ।
(Exclamatory) ବିସ୍ମୟସୂଚକ
What a beautiful scene/lovely sight it was ! . ତାହା କେତେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଥିଲା !
What a cold night it is! ରାତିରେ କେତେ ଥଣ୍ଡା ପଡୁଛି !
What a hard life we live/lead ! ଆମେ କେତେ କଠିନ ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରୁ !
(Affirmative) ସକରାତ୍ମକ
It was a beautiful scene/lovely sight. ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ବହୁତ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଥିଲା ।
It is a bitterly/terribly cold night. ରାତ୍ରିରେ ବହୁତ ଥଣ୍ଡା ପଡୁଛି |
We live/lead a very hard life. ଆମେ ବଡ଼ କଠିନ ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରୁ ।
(Imperative) ବିଧ୍ୟର୍ଥକ ।
Please open the door. ଦୟାକରି ଦୁଆର ଖୋଲନ୍ତୁ ।
Please have a cup of milk. ଦୟାକରି ଏକ କପ୍ ଦୁଧ ପିଅନ୍ତୁ |
Please keep quiet. ଦୟାକରି ଚୁପ୍ ରୁହନ୍ତୁ ।
(Interrogative) ପ୍ରଶ୍ନବାଚକ
Will you please open the door? କ’ଣ ଆପଣ ଦୟାକରି ଦୁଆର ଖୋଲିବେ କି ?
Will you please have a cup of milk? ଆପଣ ଦୟାକରି ଏକ କପ ଦୁଧ ପିଇବେ କି ?
Will you please keep quiet ? କ'ଣ ଆପଣ ଚୁପ୍ ରହିବେ କି ? ' ,
(Positive) ପ୍ରଥମାବସ୍ଥା
Amitabh is as tall as Sanjay. ଅମିତାଭ ସେତିକି ଲମ୍ବା ଯେତିକି ସଞ୍ଜୟ ।
Very few cities in India/our country are as big as Mumbai. ଆମ ଦେଶରେ ଅଳ୍ପ କେତେକ ନଗର ଏତେ ବଡ଼ ଯେପରି ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ନଗର ଅଟେ । No other man was a strong as Bhim.. ଅନ୍ୟ କେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଏତେ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ନ ଥିଲେ ଯେତେ ଭୀମ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଥିଲେ ।
Very few Indian saints were as popular/famous as Vivekanand. ବହୁତ କମ୍ ଭାରତୀୟ ସନ୍ଧିଥିଲେ ଯେ ବିବେକାନନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ଭଳି ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ/ବିଖ୍ୟାତ ଥିଲେ ।
(Comparative) ଦ୍ଵିତୀୟାବସ୍ଥା
Sanjay is not taller than Amitabh. ସଞ୍ଜୟ ଅମିତାଭଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲମ୍ବା ନୁହେଁ ।
Mumbai is bigger than most other cities in India/our country ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ଆମ ଦେଶର ବହୁତ ନଗର ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବଡ଼ ନଗର ଅଟେ ।
Bhim was stronger than any other man. ଭୀମ ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଥିଲେ । Vivekanand was more popular/famous than many other saints in India, ବିବେକାନନ୍ଦ ଭାରତର ଅନ୍ୟ ସନ୍ଥଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ /ବିଖ୍ୟାତ ଥିଲେ ।
(Negative) ନକରାତ୍ମକ
No man is immortal. କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଅମର ନୁହେଁ ।
Abida is not as beautiful as Sonia. ଆବିଦା ଏତେ ସୁନ୍ଦରୀ ନୁହେଁ ସୋନିଆ ଯେତେ ସୁନ୍ଦରୀ ।
There is no gain without hard work. ବିନା କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମରେ କୌଣସି ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ ।
She never neglects her daily routine work. ସେ ନିଜ ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ କଦାପି ଉପେକ୍ଷା କରେ ନାହିଁ ।
No sooner had I reached the station than the train left. ମୁଁ ଷ୍ଟେସନରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ନଥିଲି ରେଳଗାଡ଼ି ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେଲା ।
(Affirmative) ସକରାତ୍ମକ
Man is mortal. ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ମରଣଶୀଳ ଅଟେ |
Sonia is more beautiful than Abida. ସୋନିଆ ଆବିଦାଠାରୁ ଅଧୁକ ସୁନ୍ଦରୀ ଅଟେ ।
Where there is hard work there is gain. କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିଲେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ମଧ୍ୟ ହୁଏ ।
She always pays attention to her daily/routine work. ସେ ନିଜର ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟପ୍ରତି ପୁରା ଧ୍ୟାନଦିଏ ।
