A prophet is not honored in his own country

A prophet is a divinely inspired person. Enlightenment comes to him at a certain stage in his life. Very few persons are born prophets. They are exactly like ordinary persons from their childhood to a certain point in their youth or adulthood. The people of his village, town, city, or locality know everything about him from his childhood. A prophet has a childhood or youth which is just the same as that of others. Ther are a few remarkable incidents in his childhood. He is just one of the so many people. So when he attains a spiritual stature at a later stage in life, nobody in his locality attaches any importance to it. It is because of their familiarity with the prophet right from the beginning. he is highly honored in other countries, but the people of his own country do not pay much attention to him. This is the story of all prophets of the world.
