Beggars cannot be choosers
A beggar is a poor man or woman who has nothing to live on. He is solely dependent on the mercy of others. When one pays for something to buy it the seller shows him a number of items of the same thing and the payer choose one item. If nothing is up to his or her choice he or she may not buy at all. Suppose a girl goes to a shop to buy a watch. The shopkeeper shows her quite a number of watches. I anyone is up to her choice she buys it. If nothing is up to her choice she does not buy any. As she pays for, the choice is entirely hers. But when a beggar comes to us and begs for a coin we can give him one of any value. He will not utter a word. He is bound to take it. As he is a beggar he has no choice.
