Discretion is the better part of valour
Valour or personal courage is undoubtedly a commendable trait of character. It enables man to face a critical situation bravely. Man has to face such situations one day or the other because all his days do not pass off smoothly. Valour does not mean showing of courage recklessly or without judgment. Besides physical power, valor also means prudence. Prudence is better in many respects than muscular strength.
