Grief is a species of idleness
Every man in the world does not pass his days smoothly. Life consists of a number of ups and downs. When one passes through good times he is happy and when he passes through had times he is unhappy. During a period of misfortune man passes through adverse circumstances. He may fall sick, he may lose his wealth, he may meet with an accident and so on. At such times his sorrow is deepened. Death of a near relation or a friend or any serious loss caused to them may be the cause of his deep sorrow. So there are a whole lot of reasons that cause grief to a person, but getting deeply immersed in sorrow does not solve any problem. During periods of grief man becomes physically and mentally immobilized. He is not able to do anything. He loses both his will and ability to do something worthwhile. Hence, grief is a form of idleness.
