Sweet are the uses of adversity
No man's life is uniformly happy or consistently unhappy. Everyman has to face the vicissitudes of life. Only a brave and courageous person is capable of facing adversity calmly. Others break down. The real worth of a person can be judged by his ability to face adverse situations of life. The adversity, of course, throws the man into misfortunes but ultimately it brings out the best in him. A person who has not passed through an adverse situation has learned little from the book of life. A person who submits to adversity is weak and timid. One or two crises blow him up. On the other hand, a person who has passed through adverse situations has learned many valuable lessons that stand him in good stead in the future. Take for example the early life of Akbar, the Great. He passed through many a crisis during his childhood and youth and that accounts largely for his success and greatness.
