THERE IS MANY A SLIP BETWEEN THE CUP AND THE LIP.
We generally drink tea or coffee from a cup. We do not drink it a stretch just as we drink water from a glass tumbler. From the beginning until we finish drinking there would be many a slip between the cup and the lip. Until the contents are finished nobody can be sure that he will drink the whole cup of tea. In the process of drinking, the cup or the saucer may fall down from his hand or he may attend to an unscheduled work or an unexpected visitor. In the same way, when we propose to do a work and begin it earnestly we cannot predict that work will be completed successfully. Something may easily go wrong without our anticipating it or something may easily go wrong without our anticipating it or something may happen just by chance that may impede the work. Life is full of uncertainties which may surprise us any time without intimation or prior notice.
