TOO MANY COOKS SPOIL THE BROTH.
Every work needs neat planning and efficient execution in order to be done well. It also needs a specific number of persons to be engaged in it. If the number of persons employed to do this work is too large, it cannot be successfully done . This will create trouble at the stage of planning as well as execution. Everyone involved in the work would try to impose his decision and follow his own way of doing it. There will be no discipline and singleness of purpose. It is bound to create chaos and hence, the work cannot be done properly. Literally, the proverb implies that if a large number of cooks are engaged in making broth it cannot be made. It will be spoiled because Woh cook will work in his own way. There will be no unity and cohesion among them. As a result confusion will be created and the broth will be spoiled.
